    I would say the next model up from this is the Ace Hardware special edition 2151. While I can really appreciate a lid that pivots most everything else is pretty much the same on these two models, yet the one at Ace is almost twice the price!

    Hey buddy, awesome video. Can you do a follow up/update video on this grill? Thank you!

    Think it would be better to put the tank on the other side, opposite the handle. Easier to pull without that thing at your feet. Just bought mine from Blackstone direct. $399. Holiday sale. Can’t wait to try it!!!

    Great video. I think they sent me four (4) L brackets instead of two L and two R. All for brackets have the letter l one them.

    Are you suppose to season the outside walls of flat top?

    on the paper towel holder, do the 2 balls act as a stop point for the arm? im putting mine together now and it seems like the balls should fit in the second hole on the arm to hold it in place but on mine theyre not making any contact with the arm

    Thank you for the assembly, but I believe if you season with an animal fat first it’s going to chip. Cooking with it should be fine once seasoned, but a non-animal fat should be used first. Let me know how it’s held up because I’m curious.

      Still going strong with no issues. The manual only recommends against using butter specifically because the griddle could become sticky. The ghee worked fine for me.

    When you are done seasoning do you just let that burn off and turn it off or do you coat it one more time and turn off?

    • @JaredDesrosiers
      @JaredDesrosiers  Год назад

      If it’s the first seasoning, you should do it one more time.

    Thank you for this. Is it possible to get the width dimensions with shelves folded? This measurement is no where to be found. Thanks again, very helpful.

    • @JaredDesrosiers
      @JaredDesrosiers  2 года назад +1

      53 inches. The shelf over the tank doesn't fold completely down because the tank is there. About 44 inches if the tank was removed.

    Even with the lid how does it fare against the weather?

    • @JaredDesrosiers
      @JaredDesrosiers  2 года назад

      Do you mean when it’s not being used? A cover is absolutely essential. I always keep it covered when I'm not using it and it's still in perfect condition after a cold wet winter.
      I don't think the lid alone would work well against the weather.

    How long did it take to apply the first coat?

    • @JaredDesrosiers
      @JaredDesrosiers  Год назад

      I did three 10-15 minute coats, so it took a little less than 45 minutes.
