Care to expand on what he did to determine the ‘roo raw’ comment. Had a good disciplined game, passed the ball well and covered the pitch, just like a seasoned pro would.

Everyone of the academy players are good players but i think none of them have an chance to establish themselves in the squad beside Wheatley. They dont have the quality that seperates them from the crop of opponents they have encountered. I think they will have decent carriers elsewhere

It may be difficult for academy players if they do not have standards like Kobbie Mainoo. Especially for midfielders. United must be more selective in order to create academy players with Kobbie Mainoo standards
Not like Zidan. We need 1 or 2 more players with the standard of kobbie mainoo. If not, it will be difficult for them to break into the first team. This is what happened to some released academy players. If we want to rise, then the standard of academy players must be like kobbie mainoo.
Not as calm as Kobbie but promising enough as a ball-winning midfielder. Maybe suitable to be one of United's midfielder variations but not good enough to be a main team competitor.
He needs to up his game more though, either dribbler, good passer or more towards physical midfielder. Overall just good reading to the game what makes midfielder a good midfielder.
I don’t know if Zirkzee is a much better finisher than McTominay, but he’ll certainly be a great deal better with the ball at his feet. Will make us a whole lot better as a team…both in and out of possession.
