Setting the playback speed in RUclips to 0.75, I was actually able to follow this tutorial! Always interesting to watch your tutors. And Redshift is very good, indeed!
So, if you are using a cloner you can add a Random Effector and change the Color to "Effector Color". In the User Color Data change it to Mograph>Color and it'll use the color from the Random Effector. If you compare your preview render to your final render then you shouldn't see a difference. Right now that's my only work around I've found so far. I'm still trying to find a way to keep it from changing without using a cloner and random effector. @thepixellab2011 have you had any issues like this with Color User Data?

Hm … when i render my scene the assignments totally switch places. Like the IDs seems to change or something … anyone knows something about that?!
