I think ONJ was absolutely stunning in Xanadu. The Gene Kelly roller skating scene is classic. This is my favorite ELO song and ONJ takes it over the top! You’re spot on! Love it!

@@nancybaumet8831 Well, I don't know if there's an audience for an Olivia show, but I know there is at least one Linda Ronstadt tribute act that seems to be succeeding. (Linda Ronstadt Experience) You'd have to find a way to test market the idea. Do you know the musical ecosystem where you live? Are there cover bands looking for work? Do you know any recording studios? Here's an idea. Find a really good cover band (or a multi-instrument musician) and hire them on a "work for hire" contract to accompany you on Xanadu (Or Magic, my favorite) and get in a recording studio and put the finished product on RUclips so then you can quickly show it to others. (Of course, the video shows you up close singing the song in the studio.) Then perhaps try the act on a small scale. Assisted living facilities often have musical guests. It's a treat for the residents, and low risk for you. If everything goes wrong, it's still fun for the audience and nobody else needs to know. You could do "Olivia Trivia" between songs. Also, get a reputable vocal coach. It isn't my place to critique your voice. I love it, but a good vocal coach will hear things that I don't and perhaps you don't. That's just the icing on the cake. It's some money up front, but you are a Christian (right?) as am I, and I think you have a tremendous gift.

My usual audiences from those facilities may or may not get into the Olivia vibe. I think they may be a bit too much "older". LOL However, I do lunch shows at a couple of restaurants, and I thought perhaps I would set one up there and see what happens! Also, yes, the idea of getting someone (or someones) to back me and do a song in a "studio" setting would be great. I even know someone who's interested who plays keyboard and guitar and sings (duets!) so I may be on my way to making a couple of those! I also know that some venues who might be interested may ask for a sample video so I would need to get on that! "Worship" music is bland, boring, genre-less brain rot that is played at over 80 Decibels in churches, which is why I don't regularly go to church. You are way too good for that. Perhaps just getting out in front of "pagans" and finding a tasteful way to identify as a Christian and getting them to consider the gospel would even do more good in the long run. Just share who you are. Perhaps put a couple fantastic gospel songs in with the Olivia songs. And, get an intellectual property attorney too. If you charge money for performing songs that others own the rights to, like Olivia's, then you likely need to pay some royalties, which shouldn't be too oppressive, unless you become successful and never do it. People have gotten in trouble for that. Oh, and I absolutely love the "LIVin It UP!" name for your show. I'd go see you if it was anywhere local, like within a couple hundred miles of me. It occurred to me that casinos might absolutely love your show once you got it up and running and the bugs worked out. I'm afraid that many of the old "legacy" rock stars that were touring casinos before the pandemic might not return. There may be a huge opening for new talent in that area.

We'd go in and do worship music and there'd be a message and then we'd pray with people. Very interesting for sure:) I do need to figure out all that intellectual property stuff too. It's such a process that most people don't realize. But I'll get there. And thanks for the casinos idea! Once I get it all figured out, I can add that to the list of potential interested venues:) I'm feeling inspired now!
