Your Twisted Tee came out beautifully! I love how the microstripes blend together into bigger stripes at a distance, but you can still see them all closer up. So gorgeous!
I love how you talked through choosing a size for your hoodie. That’s so helpful. I get the Hook & Needles kits for both. I enjoy the yarns. Probably will cancel and try something different eventually. Safe travels.
I did see the 🐿️ fall. Don’t worry he’s fine. They do that occasionally and just keep going. The tee is amazing!! Good job on your BOK crochet!! See you out there on the road!! Excited for your videos!!
Your Twisted Tee turned out great! I’m excited for sock week, I’ve got the yarns already in bags and will cake them up next week, empty needles are waiting as well.
I am so obsessed with your twisted tee! It’s so cute! You shushing the birds was absolutely cracking me up 😂. Also - my husband always sneezes when it’s too bright outside!
When you come through Minnesota on the next leg of your adventure may I suggest stopping at Darn Knit Anyway in Stillwater MN, it's a very well rounded store with a beautiful community making area in a nice river town on the St Croix river. I always enjoy following you both on your adventures!
Regarding your blanket of knowledge... you mentioned you didnt know what to do with the February part since it was not a block.... Think about using it as a boarder, or an overlay [a boarder that overlays the top of the blanket... but in the reverse direction].
Can’t wait to see how your Traveler knits up! I’ve had that pattern in my queue for a while! Do you also still have to visit Maryland? If yes, you may want to consider stopping by Assateague Island National Seashore. There’s wild horses on the beach, dogs are permitted on the beach in some of the MD portion, and you can camp. Kent can also get another junior ranger badge!
Loved Spun!! Here right now actually! Last night we were able to sleep with the windows open in the van since it was in the low 60’s. Absolutely amazing!
#question I love hearing about all the fiber festivals and shop crawls. I am excited to attend a few coming up. It got me thinking is there an etiquette or rules of engagement for people attending these festivals and events? I worry about going in booths but not purchasing something. I’m curious if booth hosts have expectations for shoppers.
As I was knitting, I’d put all the yarns I wasn’t about to work with (7) over to the left and then bring up the bottom-most color (the one I was about to work with) to the right as I carried it up. I did this with every color and it creates that barber pole sort of look!
You are outdoor, the birds are a part of it, nice sounds, nature. Greetings from Denmark, Susan 🇩🇰

Exactly what I was going to say! It turned out so well.

Thank you for going through your process of choosing a size to knit, and adjusting for personal gauge and yarn. As usual, so helpful!!

Yes! The sun makes me sneeze too! My mom was the same way. I found out that it’s called solar sneezing & it’s genetic. Fun fact! 🤓

Oh, You will love SPUN. Fun area of MI.

Hello from Swansea, Illinois.
Hello, Janet!
The Pacific Northwest Yarny Social Premium Crochet Event in Boise, ID 10/3 - 10/5. 😁
Natalie those shell yeah socks are amazing in that yarn! Is the mini from the set enuf to complete 2 socks?
Twisted T - The inside “seam” where you carried your yarn; is it tight to the fabric or is it only attached every so often? T-shirt looks great!
Oh man, wish I would have known you would be a Cream City on Friday. I would have jumped in the car and drove over. 😢 (it’s only 10 hrs)
10 hrs?!?! That sounds far. We will be there this upcoming Sunday, July 14th! But maybe we’ll be somewhere closer to you later??
@@KnittyNatty I’m actually in ND.
Any chance that you are planning to attend the SAFF Fiber Festival in Fletcher, NC? It's not far from Asheville.
Can you knit any sock pattern for sock week? Or does it have to be one of those 2 you mentioned? I'm new to sock week.
#question - how did you carry your yarn on the side and how does it look twisted? (for the twisted tea shirt)
As I was knitting, I’d put all the yarns I wasn’t about to work with (7) over to the left and then bring up the bottom-most color (the one I was about to work with) to the right as I carried it up. I did this with every color and it creates that barber pole sort of look!
