      Yes I do but not in a sense of say some 50% or such. The German party of 1937 was say 10%. The nation of Iraq Sadam Hussain was like 29%. It's the largest focused group that is the silent "majority" until it's not silent anymore. Then in many cases they become tyranny of the minority in charge because they have focus. And then everything starts over as a new group begins to form silently growing in focus. Point is very large group may not be able to have cohesion, but smaller focused groups can. So, majority simply means the largest group that can move in a single direction, even if it's not really that big.

      Liberty is perfectly sustainable, as long as you have moral guide rails for society, such as strict adherence to religion. That’s why the United States was founded on the principles set forth in the Bible. And why universal suffrage was not given.

      Not sure what you're talking about, but Neanderthals being different humans has been debunked for a long time. That was the result of bad interpretation of skull features, because they didn't know at the time their skeletons were well within normal human range of the past. They have since found enough human skeletons and fossils to show that people in regions like The Middle East, the cradle of civilization, showed contemporary features and Neanderthal like features and back again throughout time. There are tribes of people today who have Neanderthal like features.
      It's not unlike the way many things classified as dinosaurs have since been determined to just be prehistoric birds, but paleontologists of the past didn't know enough about the range of bird features to know the skull was not indicative of whether an animal was a bird or reptile, and other things like joints and tails are bigger factors.

    • @Fahrenheit4051
      @Fahrenheit4051 3 месяца назад +5

      Birds are dinosaurs, and where you draw the line is arbitrary. There was no point at which they stopped being reptiles.
      Neanderthals are sometimes regarded as a subspecies of _Homo sapiens_ but have features distinct from modern humans, such as accentuated brow ridges, a prominent "occipital bun", and larger ribcages.
      The idea that the possession of a soul is tied with Neanderthal ancestry sounds like a weird racist dog whistle, because it's the Europeans that have the highest percentage of Neanderthal ancestry.
      Even if true, the logical conclusion would be "ooga ooga, race mixing good, me guess". But then again, one does not become a racist by thinking critically.

    Sorry but I do see such a thing as a silent majority. We, in my country of New Zealand, saw it when we voted for a right leaning government in our last election after 6 years of destruction from a far left one.
    The silent majority spoke at the election but their voices were NOT heard in the public square by and large. They sat back and watched and formed their opinions and then they voted.
    This is why the left are always shocked when their team loses, they did not hear the majority verdict on the destruction their players wrought and they thought they had, due to all of their noise, a majority behind them.
