He really was the best. Would be so nice to see him back on tv. My mother loved him and honestly everything he did my mother would do the same at home. He really was an inspiration to her.
You rock Christopher Lowell. I have such fond memories of watching your show when I was a young mother at home with my kids. I tried so many of your ideas. And, to this day I say that it was Christopher Lowell who turned me on to decorating and the idea of truly designing your space. Bring back Christopher Lowell PLEASE 🙏🏼 ❤
He's more or less out of TV these days since the networks aren't interested in doing shows like his where the topics are discussed in a point-by-point breakdown. Anymore, if the topic can't be discussed in a fast-paced manner on a micro scale, it's often avoided altogether. Only the key points get discussed in the allotted time (usually 30 minutes.) These days, _This Old House_ is the only show that goes point-by-point, but even on that series, some portions of the process aren't aired because they don't make for good programming.
I've always told my friends, "Everything I've ever learned about decorating, I learned from Christopher Lowell." My sister and I used to watch you everyday at noon - talking long distance while we did - exclaiming over your wonderful designs and tricks. I've had a linen closet in my house for 17 years, but it has never seen linens. I was, what else, a prop closet! I am so happy you have a channel on RUclips. What a wonderful gift you have and have shared with all of us. Thanks so much!!
Well hello handsome!!!! I've told my husband these stories of one of the greatest interior designers I've ever seen and how I wish I could watch his show again! Finally!!! I have missed you Christopher Lowell and glad to see your beautifully designed spaces. "They don't make em like you anymore" ;-). Thank you for creating this RUclips Channel. My passion for interior design began with you and although I'm 38, I'm glad you still have the skill to inspire the next generation. I watch with my 4 yr old daughter and she adores you as much as I do. Keep up the great work!
Christopher is why I craft. He let you know it is all so much simpler than it looks. Thanks for breaking it all down and user friendly. Miss you Chris. RUclips videos are big. Why aren’t you doing at least one a year?
Loved Christopher's show. My mother was a devoted fan. His team had even offered for us to come watch them film, which was so sweet of them. Great people. Great talent. Miss the show.
Christopher Lowell i really love your inspiration. i have been watching you along time now and i love everything you do .you inspired me alot thanks to you.
I couldn't agree more with these people. I learned so much way back when (before I cut the cord). He left a huge impression on me, I'm so glad to see some of his work here!! I hope he's killing it somewhere and is happy!
delighted to have rediscovered u I’ve missed u & ur exciting & entertaining sense of style. u r definitely one of a kind a very special soul. ur devoted fan, Lucy
I was obsessed with Christopher Lowell since Interior Motives. I was 20 when that show came out and I was in no way his demographic living in my 300 square foot efficiency apartment and going to college. But, I loooooved him.
I wish the folks that have supposedly replaced you on TV had half the skill, talent and personality you've always displayed. Oh, how I miss you Darlin' Boy. Thank God for your RUclips videos.
I LOVE CHRISTOPHER! I would zone out on his program when I was 11 years old (I was channel surfing while home sick from school). I never realized my obsession with throw pillows until seeing this episode when it dawned on me...lol...ahh memories😂
I really dislike having to “log on” just to leave comments. I forgot this guys name. I watched and taped his show all the time. I did buy his book and I just found it. The second I seen his face, zap, I recalled his name. Lol, gonna watch him again. Lol
As a gay man myself, a couple of things: 1) a lot of the time what we assume about roles is not the actual truth 2) a huge percentage of gay men are “vers” and switch the roles around all the time, to keep it interesting.
Not a fan of French Country but I love the hutch. I am on the hunt for a large Welsh Dresser but damn, so is everyone it seems. So fun to see Christopher again!
🍃🌹🍃 Hello Christofer! Iam Just thrill that I rediscovered You Again!!!!! My very First Decor Teacher. You Know What? The Best! Christopher L years back you did a show on Martini Rooms!! Now I have collected everything for my Loft but need to see your video on this?? Help a very loyal FAN
The Christopher Lowell Show and Home Matters are my two favorite shows from this era... the looks haven't aged well from this show lolll, I'd love to see what Chris would put out now!
Hello Christopher. I use to watch your TV show years ago. My interest is what shade of yellow to use in a dark living room that has to have lights turned on during the entire day? Or even white?
Would anyone happen to know which episode featured Christopher distressing a table to make it look centuries old? I remember he used a blow torch, then sanding and some kind of stain. I'd like to emulate an old Medieval wood look. I even printed out the instructions from the show long, LONG ago (think it was our first computer!) when I first saw the episode, but can't find it anywhere!
Ppl bash chalk painted furniture, but there is peices on here that was painted. It just goes to show painted furniture is timeless just like stained furniture.
You did a bedroom makeover episode that had French fries, I believe...maybe baguettes...anyway, it was French themed and I've never been able to find it anywhere. Could you please post it? Thanks.
The fact that this show STILL exists on the internet still makes the world a better place
Truth

He's definitely the catcher and not the pitcher !!
As a gay man myself, a couple of things: 1) a lot of the time what we assume about roles is not the actual truth 2) a huge percentage of gay men are “vers” and switch the roles around all the time, to keep it interesting.

Miss Chris!
Even though Christopher’s friend did the room, my favorite of all decorator’s designs is the powder room painted with nail polish!
I used to watch this in the 90s when I was preggers ❤❤❤
I love this show we had a special name for it but he was great
I miss this show so much. Come back Christopher. HGTV today is so bad. Real estate is all they do now no designs.
I so love you, always have, always will.
When did this episode first air?
Ppl bash chalk painted furniture, but there is peices on here that was painted. It just goes to show painted furniture is timeless just like stained furniture.
I have a lot to learn I try to make my place look good but it looks like a 1970s desert motel what can i do?
11:24 That's what HE said.
You did a bedroom makeover episode that had French fries, I believe...maybe baguettes...anyway, it was French themed and I've never been able to find it anywhere. Could you please post it? Thanks.
The best🎉
I still miss him too
