Very nice section... looks like can be made in an Africa Twin.... what do you think?

Hey, you walked into a prop and lived to tell about it! In my aviation career, there were three instances of customers walking into a running propeller. Not a pretty sight.

Yeah, heated grips and hand guards are the first thing I add to every bike! Rode to Alaska a few years back - and it rained 6 times every day. Never would have made it with cold hands in the middle of summer!

The first 7-8 minutes with the music and scenery was like nirvana.

Nice riding... no mudpies. You got close a few times.
How did Steve's license plate get bent under like that?
Some beautiful roads and scenery early in the video. Loved all the different transitions. I really enjoyed watching that.
When you hit some of the washboard the sound seemed to merge with the sound of the buzz of your engine... and about that time I heard the music emanating as they reached harmony.😉
Hey, if you weren't all packed out with gear, you could have done some of that Steve McQueen stuff, through the tundra.
    Gord

I'm pleased to see you are making it through the trip series! the bent plate reason is discovered later...

Hey Jonny pow, how many sd cards did you take with you and what size were they, I assume you just filmed and then edited when you got back home. What type of organization system did you use?? Great videos.
Also, did you guys use coms?

    • @JohnnyPowRides
      @JohnnyPowRides  2 года назад +1

We didn't use coms - too lazy to hook them up! We had them but they were different brands and we didn't bother to try to sync.
I accidentally only brought one SD for the drone, and one SD for the GoPro9. I discover this in the next days video part and I get more. I ended up getting San disk Extreme 256, and I would back them up to external SD hard drive every two days and erase them to re-use.

You published two lengths one segment , no maps, no drone film. It took Itchy Boots some time to master her video skills. Or did it get boarded with the length of the video? Shorter segments may help keep my interest? Mapping is very helpful for those of us who are tided down.

I'm bummed too man! This was an EPIC section. And when it's amazing scenery on RUclips it's just impossible to imagine how great it was like in person... Glad you kept all your fingers!

Thank you for sharing your ride. I really enjoyed your camera/recordings.The only problem is I have caught up to the end an want more. I watch others as well. But still want more. So for now reruns will have to do. I've tried riding. An it didn't turn out well. But I'm encouraged to try again. Thanks again. An ride safe.

Yeah the Himmie is missing about 16 hp. Normal 'rule of thumb' is ~10hp per 100cc, RE seems to go with more like about 6hp per 100cc. Kinda anemic.

It is what it is and you can always make more if you dont like it. Cam, air filter and pipe can get you about 20% more power. Its been done and there are videos on it.
