My father was also in WWII. Let's not ever forget what Trump said when in France to honor those who died. He could not understand why he had to go to the cemetery to honor a bunch of loosers. That comment hurt my soul, such brave me, who country they were so proud of.
My father also served in WW2. He was 18yr old and was one of the many in the Army who ran up the beach at Normandy. I am proud of our military and proud to be American.
My Dad took part in the D Day landing. He was later wounded by sniper. Spent long time in hospital.An Uncle was seriously wounded w scrapnel...They were patriots.
My grandfather served in the Navy as well in WWII. He passed when I was 7 so I didn't know him too well. I remember hanging out in his barbershop on the square. I never understood why he joined the Navy as he lived in a landlocked state until I researched his ancestry. His GGG Grandfather sailed from Massachusetts to North Carolina around 1705 and was one of three relatives that started the whaling Industry there. He was lost at sea in his 60's. A couple of generations later, his grandson started moving west until his family eventually settled in the middle of the country. History can be very interesting. The generation who served in WWII was the greatest generation.

I’m handicapped so I know what it’s like. My family is honest with me. It’s called cruel to be kind. They barely have time for their work & dreams & family to help me with my wants & dreams. It’s hurts, it’s sad, but I accept it & love them enough to accept that and am rewarded with their freedom. That’s my life. You share yours, I share mine sometimes. ❤❤❤

Hi Paw Paw! Koda Bear is so darn sweet. She's got her little shoes on & her tutu. Adorable! Your little herd are having a nice snack together. I finally planted my bedding plants, herbs, tomato plants & zucchini. The greenhouse didn't have all that I wanted. I wanted a few other varieties of tomatoes. 🍅 So, I will have to go back & check for some other varieties. I want to mention a funny story to you. As I was putting my plants in their pots & planters...I had a bag of soil in my garage left over from last year. As I was pulling out handfuls of soil to top up the pots...I was pulling out whole peanuts in their shell. 🥜I thought it was strange. I never had peanuts in that bag before. 😳🤷🏻♀️ So, every handful of soil had a handful of peanuts. I put them all to the side as I kept planting. At the end, I must have had a good 2 handfuls of peanuts in their shell. I don't have squirrels in my yard. But, my neighbours have huge Spruce trees & I see them running up their trees. They sometimes come across the street & I have seen them on the sides of my house. But, there is no food source for them here. So, I figured they had slipped under the cracks of my garage door & found my bag of soil on the floor of my garage to store their peanuts. He is going to be pretty surprised when his "stash" is gone. 🐿️🥜😂🤣👏 Too funny. For me, not him. Thank you for sharing this video with us. 👍🇨🇦😊

Paw paw thank you for another video. Loved your little dancing girl! I watched about Normandy on TV the other day as well and it made me think with sadness when they spoke to one of the veterans. They asked him if he talked to children about that battle. He said he likes to, but first he has to give them a history lesson. He said the schools don't teach the history of the war anymore. That is so sad but true. Those men are a generation of strength , pride and dedication to what our country is supposed to stand for. They love our country so much that they would die to protect it. Now all you here are how people hate our country and want our country to provide for them. They lost the meaning of our country. Our country gave us, as a free people, the ability to work hard and reap the benefits of our work. We are able to speak freely without fear, and bear fruit from our labor. Walk with pride under God as free men and women. Our schools have to teach what all those brave men and women fought and sacrificed for. I don't know if our young men and women would sacrifice as they once did without knowing how great our country is. Even though we've lost a lot, we need children to know and love our country again. My dad was a chief boatswain during WW2. Those men fought and came home, but rarely talked about the war. They are, I believe, the ladt of a special generation, and I admire them so much. Well enough sadness, but we really do have to get our schools back to reading, history, and arithmetic and stop all this nonsense teaching about identity etc.

Pawpaw you need a power washer and you can use that power washer on those cushions too...just hang those cushions up and spray w a cleaner and then power wash them! That's how we do ours and and it gets the black mold off them from where they sit out all year around!

What a dancer Koda Bear is. I wish I had half the energy she has. Ivan and all the babies out in the goat pen are liking the treats. They all want extra but Ivan wants more cause he's the boss. The work around the farm takes alot of time to get cleaned up. Little by little it is getting done. What a beautiful clear sky and green pastures makes a beautiful day. It's getting hot here too. In the 90s today. Those baby ducks are getting so big. I love how they follow there mama to the ponds all around the hill. You , Gigi, and the babies have a great day.❤
I'm amazed at seeing your summer garden in full bloom and heading down. I'm in the Midwest, and I haven't even gotten my first crops yet. Are you going to plant a fall crop? I know Jami and Steph are...so just say the word, and you can always get some from them if you don't feel like planting. You are so lucky you had the raised bed because it didn't get flooded like poor Steph's did. Raised beds are the smart way to go.

It’s a breezy, cooler day here in Wisconsin so I mowed and trimmed and removed some unwanted small trees that pop up. I’m going to water next. Koda is adorable and she sure loves her Pawpaw. Ivan is such a cutie. I love “baby” goat too. I wonder how long before the new puppy (can’t remember the name) turns country. Animals sense your kind heart and love spending time with you. My Mother lost her first husband at the Battle of the Bulge. He was 19 yrs old. She was 17 at the time. They were so much in love he insisted they get married before he left with the Army. So sad all the young men's lives that were lost. We owe them a dept of gratitude for their services to keep our County free. ❤ Koda Bear is so adorable! It seems she inherited your animal "whisperer" abilities. She's going to be your little " Shirley Temple"! Buster obviously has picked her to bond with. PawPaw, I had made a comment on one site yesterday as I listened to one of the D Day veterans speaking about this and I made the comment that he has so many stories which may never be told, and this is because the many horrors of that day and the war are ones which these men try to forget and talking about them would be too painful. So many people nowadays show no respect for our Veterans nor for our active service men and women and this is the saddest thing IMO. The one thing that struck me the most about this man's comments was when he stated that he now feels like a stranger in his own country but when I thought about it I guess during these very troublesome times that there are also many of us who feel this way too. It's sad times for our nation unlike any that many of us have ever witnessed and the only thing we can do is to pray that it can heal. God Bless you and GiGi and just so you know, I think Ivan has got to be the sweetest donkey of all times. He doesn't ever seem to show any kind of aggression towards any of the other animals which I love about him and that bawl of his is just the cutest because he tries his best to express himself in a way that you will fully understand. lol

Good Morning, PawPaw . Please be careful with the fumes that bleach will overwhelm you with in this heat. I personally can't stand the smell of bleach, so I don't use it at all. Cleaning up from the flood is a chore nobody enjoys, that's for sure. I am cleaning up because I have decided with my health getting worse by ea h year to bring everything closer to the house. That means sorting out sheds and in fall have to transplant my garden's from up the hill to the area I have been working on since spring ... one day at the time ,the hot weather snug up on me, and as always, I fell behind with everything... nonetheless, little progress is better than none at all ❤❤❤. I enjoy watching you do bees, and watching Baby the goat, the ducks, Ivan…all the animals, your garden. All the other “work” makes me sad & anxious and wish you’d get your knee or knees done. I’m handicapped so I know what it’s like. My family is honest with me. It’s called cruel to be kind. They barely have time for their work & dreams & family to help me with my wants & dreams. Hi Paw Paw! Koda Bear is so darn sweet. She's got her little shoes on & her tutu. Adorable! Your little herd are having a nice snack together. I finally planted my bedding plants, herbs, tomato plants & zucchini. The greenhouse didn't have all that I wanted. I wanted a few other varieties of tomatoes. 🍅 So, I will have to go back & check for some other varieties. I want to mention a funny story to you. As I was putting my plants in their pots & planters...I had a bag of soil in my garage left over from last year. As I was pulling out handfuls of soil to top up the pots...I was pulling out whole peanuts in their shell. 🥜I thought it was strange. I never had peanuts in that bag before. 😳🤷🏻♀️ So, every handful of soil had a handful of peanuts. I put them all to the side as I kept planting. At the end, I must have had a good 2 handfuls of peanuts in their shell. I don't have squirrels in my yard. But, my neighbours have huge Spruce trees & I see them running up their trees. They sometimes come across the street & I have seen them on the sides of my house. But, there is no food source for them here. So, I figured they had slipped under the cracks of my garage door & found my bag of soil on the floor of my garage to store their peanuts. He is going to be pretty surprised when his "stash" is gone. 🐿️🥜😂🤣👏 Too funny. For me, not him. Thank you for sharing this video with us. 👍🇨🇦😊

Mr. Morrow I watched the program as well and I thought about the fact that my mother was 7 years old on D Day. The experiences and the sacrifices that were made for all of us within our country and world.

Paw paw thank you for another video. Loved your little dancing girl! I watched about Normandy on TV the other day as well and it made me think with sadness when they spoke to one of the veterans. They asked him if he talked to children about that battle. He said he likes to, but first he has to give them a history lesson. He said the schools don't teach the history of the war anymore. That is so sad but true. Those men are a generation of strength , pride and dedication to what our country is supposed to stand for. They love our country so much that they would die to protect it. Now all you here are how people hate our country and want our country to provide for them. They lost the meaning of our country. Our country gave us, as a free people, the ability to work hard and reap the benefits of our work. We are able to speak freely without fear, and bear fruit from our labor. Walk with pride under God as free men and women. Our schools have to teach what all those brave men and women fought and sacrificed for. I don't know if our young men and women would sacrifice as they once did without knowing how great our country is. Even though we've lost a lot, we need children to know and love our country again. My dad was a chief boatswain during WW2. Those men fought and came home, but rarely talked about the war. They are, I believe, the ladt of a special generation, and I admire them so much. Well enough sadness, but we really do have to get our schools back to reading, history, and arithmetic and stop all this nonsense teaching about identity etc.
It's sad that our schools don't teach about the sacrifices our military men and women give for our freedoms...and showing what happened years ago

Pawpaw you need a power washer and you can use that power washer on those cushions too...just hang those cushions up and spray w a cleaner and then power wash them! That's how we do ours and and it gets the black mold off them from where they sit out all year around!

What a dancer Koda Bear is. I wish I had half the energy she has. Ivan and all the babies out in the goat pen are liking the treats. They all want extra but Ivan wants more cause he's the boss. The work around the farm takes alot of time to get cleaned up. Little by little it is getting done. What a beautiful clear sky and green pastures makes a beautiful day. It's getting hot here too. In the 90s today. Those baby ducks are getting so big. I love how they follow there mama to the ponds all around the hill. You , Gigi, and the babies have a great day.❤

I'm amazed at seeing your summer garden in full bloom and heading down. I'm in the Midwest, and I haven't even gotten my first crops yet. Are you going to plant a fall crop? I know Jami and Steph are...so just say the word, and you can always get some from them if you don't feel like planting. You are so lucky you had the raised bed because it didn't get flooded like poor Steph's did. Raised beds are the smart way to go.

Hi Pawpaw! Those tomatoes and cukes look so yummy. Mine are growing pretty well and hope to have my first cuke in about a month. It’s a breezy, cooler day here in Wisconsin so I mowed and trimmed and removed some unwanted small trees that pop up. I’m going to water next. Koda is adorable and she sure loves her Pawpaw. Ivan is such a cutie. I love “baby” goat too. I wonder how long before the new puppy (can’t remember the name) turns country. Animals sense your kind heart and love spending time with you. My Mother lost her first husband at the Battle of the Bulge. He was 19 yrs old. She was 17 at the time. They were so much in love he insisted they get married before he left with the Army. So sad all the young men's lives that were lost. We owe them a dept of gratitude for their services to keep our County free. ❤

PawPaw, I had made a comment on one site yesterday as I listened to one of the D Day veterans speaking about this and I made the comment that he has so many stories which may never be told, and this is because the many horrors of that day and the war are ones which these men try to forget and talking about them would be too painful. So many people nowadays show no respect for our Veterans nor for our active service men and women and this is the saddest thing IMO. The one thing that struck me the most about this man's comments was when he stated that he now feels like a stranger in his own country but when I thought about it I guess during these very troublesome times that there are also many of us who feel this way too. It's sad times for our nation unlike any that many of us have ever witnessed and the only thing we can do is to pray that it can heal. God Bless you and GiGi and just so you know, I think Ivan has got to be the sweetest donkey of all times. He doesn't ever seem to show any kind of aggression towards any of the other animals which I love about him and that bawl of his is just the cutest because he tries his best to express himself in a way that you will fully understand. lol

Good Morning, PawPaw . Please be careful with the fumes that bleach will overwhelm you with in this heat. I personally can't stand the smell of bleach, so I don't use it at all. Cleaning up from the flood is a chore nobody enjoys, that's for sure. I am cleaning up because I have decided with my health getting worse by ea h year to bring everything closer to the house. That means sorting out sheds and in fall have to transplant my garden's from up the hill to the area I have been working on since spring ... one day at the time ,the hot weather snug up on me, and as always, I fell behind with everything... nonetheless, little progress is better than none at all ❤❤❤.
