I am a white Belgian myself, so I have never encountered racism towards me and can only speak for my observations as a white person born and raised in Belgium. In my expierence a lot of people are very accepting, but not all. It also depends on the region a lot. In rural areas you have way more conservative people, who kinda are against anything that is different, be it you are black, from an Arabic country, or just not what they see as "normal". In cities the majority is very open minded, mainly due to them growing up surrounded by a more diverse population, and to them people of other colour, religion and other things are also considered "normal". Of course it is not that black and white, you have conservative people in cities too, and open-minded in rural areas. I myself am a gay person and I must admit that I have a bad view of younger Muslim men (women rarely) because I see a lot of them disrespecting out rules and human rights. So being scared of them threatening my personal safety gives me a bad view about them. But I only judge a person after I know them and I'll never judge someone about skin color or religion beforehand. But I do admit that after seeing one group of people being 'again rude' or 'bashing gays or girls again' I'm more prone to say things like '' shocking, it's a group Muslim boys beating a gay again ''.
