God bless you Monsignor! And what a pleasure to listen to your talks. This years Eucharistic Congress talk of yours was a delight! Prayers for divine protection for you as the evil one will surely have his ambitions on your soul since you’re such a great prize in his evil eyes. All priests are, but especially good ones like yourself. So prayers daily will be prayed for you too. As you were speaking and explaining this fundamental new religions bases of pride and self determination and self ownership, it struck me like a bolt that this is exactly what they’re teaching our children in CATHOLIC schools in my part of the world! Just north of you! And yes I’m right there in the schools and to my shame I can’t even speak out with a drop of courage, against this freemasonic religion and so many other wings of this beast like the alphabet soup etc that’s destroying the kids and souls of the little ones in masses! Just to keep our jobs in these difficult times. It’s such a struggle, and yet….Dear Lord, how far have we come! And You alone can now save us from ourselves AGAIN! I pray the Our Father with more intention and meaning these days especially “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done” soon. 🙏🏼

A Catholic priest who prays without making the sign of the cross first is suspicious.
And yet at the end of the prayer he did make the Sign of the Cross. Be slow to judge and quick to listen. This priest has the honorary title of Monsignor only granted by the Pope himself. There is much to learn from him beyond hasty judgments at first glimpses. God Bless you.

Well, he did...very carefully...Min.0.22... and to me the entire speech was a wonderful prayer coming from the heart..."He that hath an ear, let him hear..."(Rev.2:7)

I disagree with your posting. I too was a child that prayed years to come back home (in the USA), and it became true (when I was no longer a cute little child). I am a strong believer now (and for 25 years I worked as a hardware and later a software engineer, so I am aware of AI, and quantum reseach, and other topics...)
If Rome invented Jesus's story, why did they martyr Christians by the thousands for around 250 years? Why, for example, transport Ignatius of Antioch by boat across the Mediterranean to be killed by animals in Rome? Have you ever heard of the edict of Milan? Why would a Roman Emperor have to legalize Christianity if it hadn't previously been illegal?
Jesus isn't stuck to a stick. It's not just Christianity that teaches that. Acts of the Apostles 1:11 uses the words 'taken up;' to describe a significant event in Jesus's existence. The Abdullah Yusuf Ali English translation of the Quran surah Al Imran 3:55 & Al Nisa 4:158 describe something similar if not identical. There have been many studies by the psychological profession about the benefits of prayer and meditation. Correct me if I'm wrong-I feel comfortable saying people who pray or meditate regularly on average live longer, healthier lives. As I type this, it's Aug. 20th 2024. The talk this thread is attached to was posted recently in the U.S. In the last few years, so-called deaths of despair have increased alarmingly in the U.S. Regular prayer is one of the most effective remedies to those types of maladies [addiction, suicidality, & other mental health problems]. With all this, you're discouraging prayer?
