Nice video and wonderfully useful information. I wonder if anyone can tell me if this is the same area as seen in the Tina Dico video "Fancy" (you can find it here on You Tube or her website)? Just curious, if anyone knows. She has made several of her music videos around various parts of Iceland. Good scenery and I like her music.
planning on hiking from Skogar to Volcano huts. in 3 weeks. have bus out, back to Skogar already. But coming into Volcano huts area are there foot bridges set up for some of the river crossings?
Just what i was looking for. I have been searching for information on planning a self drive tour into Thorsmork. Do you happen to have any maps or guide on which way to drive? Also, will we be able to enjoy the views by just driving up to thorsmork without hiking? Thanks!!

You’re going to get someone killed or ruin their vacation lady! Driving this road is extremely dangerous with many many river crossings that a normal 4x4 cannot handle. Please research this road before even considering driving up it. And lady, you’re irresponsible. You’re going to make someone think they can just run up this with a RAV4 they rented. Shame. On. You.
