You need front brakes?? You need rotors dude! LoL
yeah, that rotor looked toast.
" we can resurface those for $265"
U need the whole setup, pads, rotors, 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
This video deserves 1 million of likes. Everything that we want, a short video with very simple and direct information.
Bro that rotor is gone 🤣
They’ll be back within the next hour with the same complaint
Been watching you videos for long time your an great mechanic always know what to do 🔥🔥🔥🇺🇸
I replaced my rotors and pads fine went to shop for my tyrod weeks later it wobbles slowing down from 40 down. Might need weights on my rims I think they fell off
04 Tahoe : my pedal makes a sqeek sound when I release the brake pedal and turn off the car. Like a suction release from drum. Already bleed and new Dot 3.
AND ROTOR. I just kept waiting for it to be said..
No mention of greasing the caliper pins?????
Wow that is exactly my car sounds! But my brakes are almost new...
Uh what about those rotors lol
Great video thanks
Great work guys
Holy crap. Make sure your caliper piston moves back freely. And the caliper pines move freely
😂 He was driving that........... Scary always great content!
+Frank Spirk Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
If your brake shoes look good what is the minimum thickness before replacement? Thanks
Am facing this noise plus steering and body vibration while braking in high speed ! So do I need to replace both rotor and brake pads ?
I've done that - it happens!
What about the rotors? When metal is literally scratching up and destroying your rotor.. wouldn't you change that alongside the brake pads?
Was it time for the brake disks aswell?
Hey that rotor looks horrible. You are gonna change them too?
As long as it's not warp, it should be okay. But it might eat up the new brake pads quick.
Hi if there is any professional mechanic here, I have a question, I have a 2012 honda civic and my car always makes this noise from the rear right wheel and I got the rotors, pads, caliber changed on both rear wheels but the thing is after getting those things replaced It hardly runs smooth 2 weeks and then the same issue is happening, in the warranty I got the parts changed 4 times!!, and now I have the same noise again, I went to a different mechanic and he just changed the brake pads as this guy in the video did, but still the noise is there. Kindly tell me what can I do? A good professional advice will really help me alot,Thanks🙏🏻
How do you get the cars to work on ?
Vids on leaky seals into the cabin? Got them everywhere.
Mine started speaking 3 weeks ago. Prolly just need pads?
your the man
Is it true thats it is best to change front & back breaks together?
AWD/4WD probably. Typically it's like tires, driver and passenger at the same time. Unless you can find a tire with the same tread depth as the opposite side. , but even then it's best to do both side.
When it comes to brakes specifically, all 4 should be checked at the least.
Rotors are good?
Mine as well change the rotor too or get it shave at least.
Question.. if a car is is FWD or RWD is there only 2 sets of brakes?. And for AWD does that mean there are more brake pads needed?
+@EthansSoccerHour The 2WD and AWD models will use the same amount of brake pads for each wheel.
How to resurface your own rotors 101
It took all that to figure out it needs brakes could’ve just look through the wheel and saw the rotor dead giveaway lol
don't forget to true the rotors- even new ones
Don't forget to replace the rotors first.
Rotor too that thing was junked
The whole brake system needs replacing 😢, I would you know
Why didn't he mention the rotors, i just changed my brakes and it looked like his, the mechanic said i need new rotors too but I'm out of money, he replaced the brakes it isnt doing anything unusual yet so i don't know?
Need signs ? Right too change brake pads
Nah they need a whole overhaul, it looks like they live up north where its treated roads.
Rotor us bad also
Bloody hack pads and rotors needed mate definitely not safe to drive 3 points and fine and cars seize would be in UK..
For anyone watching this wanting to change brakes, IF YOU BRAKE PADS EVER WEAR ALL THE WAY DOWN TOUCHING METAL TO METAL WITH THE ROTOR, YOU NEED TO BUY NEW ROTORS. YOU CANT BUY NEW BRAKES PADS AND USE ON AN UNBALANCED SHIT ROTOR THAT IS ALREADY WORN OUT. If you fuck up your brakes and the brakes fuck up your rotors now you need to buy brakes and rotors. Don’t forgot about inspecting the caliper
How
What about when rotors need replaced? I've kept my break calipers changed and my new mechanic says my rotors need replaced is they a video you have for that?
They do need replaced or re surfaced if they are not a smooth surface anymore
You should always change both the rotors and the brake pads at the same time , having new pads but running old rotor can shorten the life of a brake pads by a lot cause rotors can be worn out just like the pads
@@gameu48709625 no ones gonna do that, new pads with a new rotor okay but no one will change the rotor everytime they do pads
@@gameu48709625 technically it's every other time you change brake pad. But I just changed mine after 5 sets of brakes and at 200K. Never resurfaced them or replaced them. It finally started making a funny noise, so I finally changed everything including the fluids.
Don't forget the rotors my dude🙄
The disk rotors are rotted.
Those rotors are trashed
Noise!? Just turn up the music. Duh
When you were driving it and you said oh no, what was it that made you say that?
It was the grinding noise of the brake pads grinding away on the brake rotor as he pressed the brakes dowm
Caliper looks good? 😂😂😂 looks rusted as hell man 😂
😅
Vreeeeeeeeeeeeeehical
Verical? First person in my life I have ever heard say that. Lol so weird because you say everything else proper.
Exactly what my cat is doing
+@to.lame.to.function5242 Thanks for the feedback!
Them rotors are trash
What about break drums ?
Could be a bad bearing. Or something loose inside the drum.
Brake ,Not Break as in coffee
