That looney toons twang is what tells you it's classic country & western from 50s to early 70s. It's "raw". Keep in mind what you are hearing nowadays has already been cleaned up and remastered over the decades. You can't imagine listening to a poorly recorded scratched up old record with all the noises and skips. Listening to music used to be very different. Living in the future is so COOL! :)
There are two versions of this song. This is the first version. The second version came a few years later and is a little more casual with a little less twang😊
***IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME*** by Cher, it was one of her big comeback songs 1989 find the official video! I watched Sonny & Cher show as a toddler. I'm 53. She's got about 25 years on me and she was inducted into the hall of fame last week and performed skipping around on stage like she's done my entire life and she's 70 something. What you said about love, life, people....and you literally quoted the song title so I had to make sure you know about that one. Cher has MANY fans over all those decades. She's often featured in drag shows, too. She is beloved. :)
The drum piece is called a brush. One of my favorites from Patsy (among many others) including this one is "Leaving on Your Mind". You should give it a listen. Great reaction.
I'm pretty sure he's fulfilling requests for people this is a reaction channel you know and if you think this song is sad you should get your ears checked
Those drumsticks are called reeds, I think. And the reason the guitar reminds you of Looney Tunes is that they were originally being made during the time when this music was still the modern music. It makes sense that it reminds you of Looney Tunes.
I love Patsy, had quite a few of her cassette tapes 💙
That drum stick is like a frayed piece of fabric. It's just fine fibers that hit the symbols and drums. The name of it is escaping me.
Is it the brush maybe
When you fall in love you love a person for who they are I'm sure there's somebody out there for you take care Ace❤❤❤❤❤❤
Pretty much lived this song more than once, whole lot of walking in the night, in the rain, etc. You could do a week of just "walking" songs.
One of her best. Died too young.
Gotta luv the steel guitar in this song! Also my fav from her! Luv the reaction

Steel guitar. Some of Patsy's greatest songs crossed over to Billboard's Top 100.
Have you ever seen a steel guitar being played? I think it would shake that Looney Tunes out of your head, if you saw it while hearing the music.
Don helms hank Williams steel guitar player is playing on this

You have played 3 broken heart songs in a row. All are great but you need to put something fun in there. ❤😂

I'm 61 and I've been screwed over too many times to try again. I'd love to find someone but I don't trust well
You want some Looney Tunes? Try "Powerhouse" by the Raymond Scott Quintette.
