I was a truck driver for a couple of years. I've driven through snowstorms and outran tornadoes but, these driving conditions with that massive load is giving me anxiety.
Totally understand. I thought that too at first. But then I enjoyed watching the videos so much that I had to give it a go. So I bought wheel, pedal and shifter to Series X just for this game. And oh boy. It was the best decision ever. I have no clue how many hours I have played. This game is HUGE. And I have only scratched the surface even though I unlocked many items and trucks. I will agree that the game can really be frustrating now and then, but it helps to take a small break now and then or do other and easier contracts. This rocket contract is definitely one of the hard/ extreme ones. Which will frustrate many. However there is something incredibly satisfying once you have completed such a contract. Also if this kind of contract is not your cup of tea then don’t worry there are insane amount of other contracts to do. From easy, to long hauls on simpler roads etc etc etc. This is clearly my most favorite game. Even though I first thought this wouldn’t satisfy me. What can I say I got hocked and changed my mind 😅
You'll grow into it. I used to not have patience for slow games but as you get older, you begin to enjoy just chilling when gaming some nights. High intensity chaos situations start to become more effort than you're willing to give and that's when games like this become viable. Plus you can listen to things you're interested in while doing it or if you have more than one monitor, you can have something on in the side while chilling on Snowrunner. Each to their own though. Just giving you my perspective from someone who dumped this game pretty quickly and then years later started to enjoy it.

I love progress that we can make in this game. We start with weak pickup truck and do some exploration. Then do some more serious deliveries. End up fighting for live hauling absurdly large cargo in harsh, rough terrain where every meter of the "road" can ruin your tens of minutes delivery mission. And you did it perfectly good, job well done!
I love how slow and careful you are and by also playing this game it's the best way to play it without making a mistake, and a mistake can cost you the whole run in this game in just 2 seconds
Nothing about this delivery was slow and careful, he was "jumping" on the rocks, speeding down the hill, almost overturned his cargo multiple times, and only finished his delivery by abusing winch.
Yup. I was unlocking a garage last night. I made it within 100 ft of the building after it taking me about 30 mins to get there. I slipped down an icy hill into a mud pit and couldnt recover. Nothing to winch to or nothing. I sat there for a good 10 mins forward, reverse, left, right... nothing lolol. I was pissed, but respawned my truck and made it successfully the next run. The game is laid back fun with moments of intensity. I grew up offroading with jeeps and a scout 800. I love this type of fun.
I didn't know about this game til about a week ago when it came onto my youtube feed. Didn't know I'd enjoy a slower paced, methodical game about hauling in rough terrain. Even just watching is entertaining as heck. Good job my dude
@@sunkingozy5051 fixing roads in Russia isn't easy, they could build a masterpiece of a road but with the conditions out there and with all the heavy hauling, that masterpiece of a highway would be destroyed within a couple years at most

it is, but it is also a real punisher... I uninstalled it after 200 hours on hard mode after losing 5 trucks in about 20 minutes in the same spot. All the progress went down the drain in just 20 minutes...
Maybe I've not found all of the upgrades for the Derry Longhorn or something, but mine does not have the guts to pull a small 4 wheel wagon, let along this special objective trailer. Well done!
These long cargo/trailer missions are the hardest. Not because it is hard, but because fucking trailers keep getting stuck with their front supports even on the smallest rocks
I've always wanted to play these games with a wheel, so I asked my fiancee for a G29 for Christmas. She gave me the funniest look, but she doesn't understand that I need to get these Amazon packages delivered and a controller just doesn't do the trick.
15:53 is this something that would work in real life?
