Dear sir, when selecting an adirondack top, is the tap tone the most important consideration for you ? Is width of grain a consideration at all ? If you look at a top, does the distribution, width and density of grain ( grain per inch ) a consideration ? I ask specifically in relation to Adirondack. Thankyou for your advice from a luthiers point of view. cheers
