The Ratna Bhandar, or Treasure Chamber, of the Jagannath Temple in Puri, Odisha, India, is a repository of priceless jewels, ornaments, and valuables offered to the deities Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra over centuries.
    The Ratna Bhandar has been accumulating treasures since the 12th century, with contributions from the Ganga dynasty kings, the Suryavanshi Gajapatis, and other rulers. The 14th to 18th centuries saw 18 attempts to loot the chamber. In 1954, the "Shri Jagannath Temple Act" established rules for security and management. The last inventory was conducted in 1978.
