- Following the good reception to the 124 Spider POV video that I posted, I thought I'd do the same with my Classic Fiat 500. I took it for a drive and filmed it in POV using a GoPro headband.
The roads are fairly tight and combined with blind bends and distinctly average brakes on the car, it was a bit unfortunate that it also rained during my drive!
Do subscribe for a new video every Saturday and give the video a like if you enjoyed watching, it helps a lot!
As always thanks for watching,
Chris.
Thanks for the video. Absolutely genuine. My father got one 500 L. That car brought me from the hospital where I was born to home and then stayed with us till I was 8. I remember exactly that engine sound. The movement of the wipers. The moisture rising in the car while it was raining outside (heating was not so good and A/C was not available :-)). Now I'm 49 and I remember those days and this car plenty of nostalgia. 500 will last forever in my life.
That's a cool story! I love how so many people have a 500 story of their own; people always come up to the window and share that they/their parents used to own one or that they were taken to school in one etc. A true car of the people!
Great Video ! I like seeing old classic car's driver view , its like a time traveling experience , also make me feel grateful for the modern car technology
Thanks! Same here - although I prefer classic styling, refinement has come a long way!
lovely video. perfect weather to test drive this beautiful thing. thanks man.!! cheers
Glad you enjoyed it! Will be back on the channel very soon 👍🏼
Oh man I really want to buy one of these, I have the modern version atleast lol
Where do u guys buy one of these? Im in love with this car and i wanted to get one for me.
I used Subito, lots on eBay and autotrader. Always worth trying local classic car auctions as well 👍🏼
@@TiffLanghamNice, thanks for the tip.
Is there some slip in the clutch?
No slip, just no synchro on 1st - not very much pedal feedback though!
How did you fix the phone at the car?
Magnets on the case 👍🏼
What is fuel consumption?
About 60 mpg
I actually want to get one as my first car
