I completely agree, but general trends can be identified (in some cases) over 7 days out. We were able to forecast some of the more recent winter storms and arctic blasts based off of trends beyond 7 days out. Obviously, exact numbers, where all the snow falls, etc, are not very predictable 7 days in advance.
The fact that you stopped in the middle of your forecast to make a shoutout to those impacted shows how genuine you are!! You’re such a great human being Max, prayers to everyone impacted!!
God bless you for sending prayers to those affected by the mid-air collision . We need to remember them all. There are so many people who are struggling from the fires and the rare weather we've been having. A non weather disaster is usually ignored by these channels. Not our sweet, compassionate Max, though!
Max are we ever going to get what we call good snow in New England. Your are by far the only weather person we can trust thanks for your honesty and integrity
No the Northeast doesn't really have winter anymore I'm in southern NH and havent seen a good real winter in about 15 years only a few big storms here and there past few years dropping a foot plus that then quickly melts right after due to higher temps it's pointless to have a snowmobile here can't use any of the trails not enough snow hasn't been for years stupid to do plowing as well not enough storms to make any money doing it anymore I don't see it changing lately the south has been getting more snow then here I think that trend will continue just as the magnetic poles continue to shift .....
@maxvanderspurt2313 Music to my ears! Coastal RI here. Everyone here hates winter but being quite a bit older than you, I think it's just an ebb an flow of patterns. In the 60's up until 1978, we had almost no real winter. Then the patterns changed especially in the late 80's and 90's - tons of snow. When a blocking pattern over Greenland sets up with a ridge in the west, we get pummeled. I've been following the shift of the magnetic pole too, but don't know if it really makes a lot of difference. Thanks Max!
@JACKDAWFISH the pole shift will trigger earthquakes and major weather events the poles will shift alot more the end result will be vastly different land forms globally but we have greater issues that will happen before that not good times ahead
Max, your the man!! A great weather guy! I just now found you. This is mama Kay, of 71 years young....do what you do best. I'll continue to check in with you frist. I'm all ways checking on weather. I own a farm. A cat farm....
Hearing rain this morning and all I can think of is the sheet of ice that's been over a portion of the yard beside the driveway to Finally melt away! My heart sank this morning to hear about that accident.
Thank you from eastern middle of Indiana from the middle of nowhere... Where everything is 27 miles away from me in every direction of needs, so, planning is paramount. Thank you.
I am so glad I found your channel I have given your channel to my friends and family! Love your content!!!! Thanks for mention the families of those who lost their lives in DC Keep up the good work!!!
@ I’m quite sure our weatherman, whose been our weatherman for over 15yrs would let us know if it were simply “the calm before the storm”. The 10 day forecast has some rain today and tomorrow … beyond that, very good weather for this time of year. For example, it said there was an 85% chance of rain today… The day is half over and there’s been no rain at all.
❤😢😮 too bad the plane and the helicopter had a crash like that. I heard in one of the vehicles either the helicopter or something a plane if they're below a thousand ft, the radar wasn't working for some reason. Boy they should change that right away and they wouldn't have a crash and a loss of life like this. My sympathy goes out to the people that perished and the helicopter and the airplane at Reagan national airport. Thank you. Max, what's your prediction on punxsutawney Phil on Sunday you think he's going to see his shuttle? I think so. By the way you're talking. I think we're going to get six more weeks of winter if he sees a shadow. Thank you!.👍👍👍
That rain in north Fort Worth was crazy yesterday! Somebody passed me on the road and the splash had my windshield completely covered in water for at least a full second (long time driving on busy road in pouring rain 😭) could’ve been driving a submarine. Hopped out my car in the neighborhood and the MIDDLE OF THE STREET was flooded past my ankles in my steel toe boots that I luckily keep in the truck for fishing.
We need happy. The tragedy in DC is scary but eastern airports have too much traffic. Good news is firefighters dealing with wildfire in McDowell Co. NC have made great progress. Winds are calm.
I live north of Dallas, and we had a lot of rain overnight, but the sun is out this afternoon and it's a beautiful day. Hopefully this storm won't produce any tornados or damaging hail. Prayers for the folks involved in last night's air crash.
Prayers for all that need a prayer to help them in this life .Please just pray
Sending prayers from Louisiana to the families involved in the airplane and helicopter crash last night.

The weather is beautiful in South Carolina, prayers for the families of the plane and helicopter crash 🙏
Prayers go to the families from the victims of the crash. Also hope u had a nice Birthday, Max.
The legend, Dr. James Spann always says "Never trust any forecast that is beyond 7 days out. No models are in agreement, and it ALWAYS changes."
@@gfear24 I gotta remind myself of that because as soon as I hear ice rain and few tornadoes 🌪️ i automatically say DAMN IT !!! 😂
Max always says longterm predictions may change.
@gfear24
We want to know the long range possibilities so we can prepare. It's not the forcast we trust, we trust in Max.
I saw James spann one time

Thank you for the update, and thank you for stating/telling the weather without the dramatic hype. You're thorough with no drama.
It'll always be the Gulf of Mexico to me 😊
Thoughts go to those in DC ❤ that plane is the type I used to work on, and was based in DCA. My heart hurts for this, it hits close 💔
Once you slow down you should make videos on the terminology that weather reporters use so that we the consumers understand the messenger
I agree I think once he graduates in May hopefully he will have more free time.
Thanks for the weather report Max and prayers 🙏🙏🙏for all affected by the DC crash❤🙏❤🙏
My sinuses are hating this rollercoaster weather.
My whole life
My sinuses and my allergies have been going nuts since December. Can't wait for summer to get here!
@teressamirault4729 here, too.
Anyone here ever try quercetin and bromelain...
Mine too
The one time my state is ever mentioned in these forecasts and it’s - ‘Surprise, you’re cold!!’ 😂
Prayers for the families ❤️🙏

I genuinely love that I don't know if the headline is a proAmerican statement, or regarding the weather...
