- THEY’RE BACK! Girls Aloud join us on Heart Breakfast with Jamie and Amanda to reunite and reflect on life without their late bandmate Sarah Harding as their new tour approaches. Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts formed the girl group back in 2002 with their bandmate Sarah Harding and are reuniting for their 21st anniversary.
Since taking a hiatus in 2013, Sarah Harding passed away in September 2021 after a battle with cancer. The band hope to honour Sarah's legacy and bring her unique energy back for the new tour in any way they can.

It makes me sad knowing Sarah was the one who most wanted the reunion to happen but I know the girls will do her proud. Hearing them talk about how she made them watch old videos and documentaries shows she was just as big a fan of the group as we all are. I'm glad they're keeping a part of her in the show as it really wouldn't be Girls Aloud without her.

i'll always be sad that they didn't do more as a 5 while they still could, especially since they've definitely been through a lot during their original run. but i'm grateful they're doing it now and i hope they genuinely enjoy doing it again, since they've been mostly out of pop music for many years now. i especially loved the bit about their kids.
They really have the BEST vibe together, and this feels so magical back together. Can't wait!!

In and out of band as those three has never even had, Sarah or Nadine in their circle and vice verse. As I don’t believe that they care for Sarah enough, that she was a part of them when she was alive.
Cheryl, Kimberley and Nicola seem to care about her, when she was dying from her cancer and her timely death.
They seem to care and want to honour her memory as they are celebrating their 20th year anniversary.

Its great their back together and doing this tour in honour of Sarah her energy was such a huge part in their tours she was the one who always got the crowd going the most
They couldn’t really not include Sarah in their tour as fans would expect it to be a homage to her, but it’s lovely that it’s done so genuinely and affectionately.
girls aloud for me.. improved with time, it was amazing to watch them grow into superstars as a unit. their Tangled up Tour was the first time i ever saw them and then immediately watched their follow up tour "Out of Control" and i was hooked. i feel they continued to do what they spice girls should have continued to do if Geri never left
The thing with the Spice Girls is that keeping up that rhythm of work is too much. They lived like 10 years of success in three years. That can be overwhelming for anyone. Even though they don't make music together anymore, I'm just glad they still are family.

I never saw their prime era because I'm form latam but since I meet Cheryl music I have love their music too, I'm so happy to see them this confident and they feel like this time they are all enjoying the moment and they are happy, even when I'm not a original fan I wish people would stop commenting about the past and just enjpy these beautiful talented woman have their time of their lifes celebrating 20 years of their journey.

I'm so glad that they are getting back together after 10-ish years, but it DEFINITELY won't be the same without Sarah. Seriously. I'm hoping that they can come to the US as part of their tour like "S Club 7" will be doing next year, originally this month, but it's postponed until sometime next year. I mean...I don't know if the girls will be, but I doubt that they will tour the US since they weren't that popular in the US...maybe they were, but it was probably WAAAAAY before I was born. "Girls Aloud" is one of my FAVORITE girl groups ever!!! Go, girlz!!!

Maybe a couple of shows in New York and LA, that would be great. S Club always had a following in the US because of the TV show.
nicky said they played world of our own in america on radio they loved the song but when they found out it was westlife they refused to play them its like simon cowell did not market little mix for america because he more focused on fifth harmony instead@@jeniestra.

I think Cheryl will be, she invited Nadine to her birthday party and seems to have taken over as the glue that is keeping all 4 girls together. I saw in one clip where Kimberley adds on to Nadine’s answer when they were talking about Anaiya so there is hope for her yet. Nicola is hopeless with Nadine lol

Rhonda Ross Kendrick (Diana's Daughter by Berry Gordy) once asked at six "mommy who are the supremes, everyone at school says we look like them." Diana said "that was a long time ago rhonda." when a commercial came on for The Supremes Greatest Hits, rhonda looked at the TV and said "who is Diana Ross" and her mother said "I don't know".

These guys should be so proud of themselves. Until the day she died Mary Wilson (1944-2021) and Diana Ross never talked about the death of Florence Ballard (1943-1976) in The supremes. when they both attended her funeral you saw how their fortunes had changed. Diana Ross was at that time the biggest black female star in the world who was wealthy and successful. Mary Wilson tried desperately to keep the group going but their career would never be allowed to supercede Diana Ross's. Mary dressed as though she got her clothes from a Pre Walmart or H & M but these guys should also be grateful. They didn't end up broke, homeless, and living in the past and trying for a comeback that never would come into fruition. US Girlbands never get that attention. Even TLC are considered to be Has Beens and they can't even get a contract.

It's well documented that Cheryl, Nicola and Kimberley formed an alliance and didn't invite Nadine or Sarah to birthdays etc. There's dozens of photos of the trio at events without the other two. When Sarah was having boyfriend problems and criticism after her acting debut the silence from Cheryl and Co was deafening. they may be regretful but it'd be difficult to deny there was a rift.
@@bollox21 there's a difference between falling out and drifting apart though. They're a similar age to me and I'm only in contact with a handful of people I was close to in my 20s. Just because these people are famous it's supposed to be more sensational than it really is. And yes it's well documented by the tabloids, but no other evidence other than that.

Exactly! Either Cheryl, Kimberley or Nicola were ever there for Sarah. When she a problem or when she had nervous breakdown, on Big Brother or when she has a emotional issue.
None of those three were there for her, where I think she could need neither of them. I can excuse Nadine not there Sarah either, because she was on the other side of the country.
But the three were living in the UK and never there for her, I guess they care now and they probably regret it. Because she was dying of her cancer and she will soon passed away. And realized they regret not being there for her back then, now they’re making up for her now.

The girls still look the same except for one.
She and Nadine were the one two people who could sing. Sarah had the best voice. Without her they would never have been that famous. Cheryl and Nicola didn't like her. The other one was on the fence.
Nadine has by far the best voice she carried the group vocally. Cheryl carried the performance. She's by far the best dancer.
Just google Nicola and Sarah partying, they were out together often just the two of them... so clearly, they very much liked each other.

What do you mean??? For example, Nicola and Sarah used to be out and about, just a quick google seach will show you they were out partying together often. Just because she was the closest to Nadine doesn't mean the other didn't like her.
