I haven't seen anything too off the wall. I live in Kansai and not Tokyo so nothing "kinky." Weirdest would probably a rice bag vending machine. Could buy 5-10kg bags of rice!
The bottom two cups the red cup is tempura soba, and in the black cup is kitsune udon. :) Then the cups in the next row up look the same - Chicken ramen - and the rest is straight forward, except the top right which says "Sio" on it ... likely meaning shio. or salt(y) broth noodles.
That's funny in a way because Nissin is a major brand of instant noodles in the US. I wonder how well that type of vending machine would do in the US ???? O.o
More crazy vending machine in action please.
More japanese stuff car related or not, like fuel station, crazy car goodies shop etc.
Thanks.
They seem to have all the angles covered!
they are VERY delicious!
yup! Will try to find more!
same in Canada!
I love how almost everything in japan is in vending machines...its awesome!
I'd definitely like to see you use the vending machines
Wish they had them there....
yup and yup!
I agree!
That is awesome
Oh man, I miss those vending machines. Nothing like a hot cup of noodles to warm you up on a chilly day! Definitely miss being in Japan sometimes...
probably cause they would be vandalized! Same thing would happen in Canada.
I love the Curry cup and its usually one of the first things I eat when I hit Japan. Wish they had it in the USA.
pretty much!
Wish we could get the curry flavour here in Australia. My favourite.
Yum!!
Another awesome vending machine! ;D
It's Yummy!

Wow, they even provide the water.
I will ...just didn't want cup noodles at the time!
I like noodles but they'd have to be about the last food I'd be buying from a vending machine.
形は違うけど、こうして給湯できるカップヌードルの自販機は40年以上前からあるな。
コンビニが無かった時代に、夜遊びして寒い時はこの自販機で暖をとれるのが嬉しかったよ。
In America or Australia you'd either need a security guard manning it , or CCTV or caged up- vandalism is rampant
haha!
yummy, like gas station food without the gas station.
you can never find best instant soup than japanese ones, the nissin seafood is just the best instant soup I ever eated!
Oh..LOL.. yeah... a bit more I bet! :)
yes.....they are yum!
not so healthy though..
this needs to be in every breakroom in America
Kevin, what is the best and the weirdest vending machine you seen?
Should have rephrased my Q. I was talking about the WHOLE vending mahine
why cant we have fancy things like this in america? =(
really? No curry cup noodles?
Cup noodle vending-machine has been exist at least thirty years in Tokyo. I have a photo of using the machine with my father thirty years ago.
How much one of those things cost? I live in the states....would be nice to get one over heree
Me too! LOL!
Whoever brings those machines to North American colleges will be the richest person in the world within a year.
Does that mean there is free hot water?
