I don't know. She turned a sweet song into a slag song. And I'm not hearing any soul. If she has it, it's not showing here. Weak attempt, like she was just going through the motions. Dusty's version had sweetness and power at the same time. This version sounds like it's covered in a cheap Vegas veneer. Sorry for being harsh, but it's not a song to imitate unless you can manage to retain the original feel.
It's hard because it's a song that has been sung so often and so well by so many. Some songs are better in some hands than others. It's a great song but almost in spite of the singer instead of because of her.
This is karaoke she brings nothing new to the table. However, she has made a career of trying to copy the African American R&B legends. However, she falls flat.

She is just like a princess here. Amazingly beautiful.
Oh wow. The best version of this song. Joss Stone - so incredible. The trumpet player is outstanding.
Pretty good, but try Sarah Connor's version.
Such a soulful voice so underrated vocalist love the way she puts so emotion into all the songs.
Joss and her bass player. Both wow!
