The Brock Purdy conversation says more about the media than it does about Brock

I didn't agree with Amy's take on Brock Purdy, but I disagreed with her when she said she wasn't respectful. I think she wasn't flippant, she was candid. I disagree with her, but I really appreciated her take. And I appreciate her, and I really enjoy everything she has to say.

I am still an Iowa State graduate and I am still upset by your cruelty. I am glad so many have forgiven you Amy. I am not there yet. I thought we, as the older generation, were supposed to set a good example by demonstrating class and humility. I guess you Amy, remain a work in progress. But heavens, what do I know? I just teach veterinary anesthesiology to veterinary students.

One of the big reasons I believe is there was no social media to speak of with Kurt Warner and it was just beginning with Tom in the last half of his career. And 24 hour sports shows on TV and radio constantly. And being told by so many that somebody is good, or somebody is not good Versus us as fans just rooting for our guys. Also fans used to think of a quarterback in the pocket reading defenses and taking hits, and now people have completely changed mobility and off platform and flashy throws. It’s a different game today
    Great job ladies!

As a lifelong Niners fan, I had zero issues with the way Lady Trask, Princess of Darkness, characterized Purdy. People have opinions and assessments. They are their assessments and their opinions based on their experiences and expertise. Rich Eisen did an impromptu ranking of the final 8 QBs in the playoffs on the flagship show and he ranked Purdy as 6th (above Goff and Mayfield and behind Stroud, Love, Lamar, Allen, and Mahommes). Again, I have no issue with that. Do I think he is underrated by many? Maybe. Probably. BUT he was one of the 5 finalists for MVP so I find it hard to really say that. What I will say is that sometimes my fellow 49 Faithful can be a little ... prickly about things and take things personally when they shouldn't be. Aikman said something interesting today on the DP show: he does not think any former or current QB has been critical of Purdy - except for Cam Newton - and Cam has taken it personally for some reason. Purdy had my vote because our PPG was about 21 with Garropolo. When Purdy took over from him? 31 ppg overnight. Case closed for me.

Trask is a failed NFL Exec. How do you not succeed with the Raiders where the customers flock to you. Subpar. Like her take on Purdy.

Purdy is like Goff, when he is on he is a top 10. But they both are capable of collapsing where you can't fully trust them.
The chiefs destroyed the 49ers last year, and only lost Juju as a weapon, their offense will be fine in this game. However the chiefs d has got substantially better. Purdy will have to play perfect this game, and i predict he won't be. He will throw 2 or 3 picks and the chiefs win like 27-14 or 27-17
