We went to Parkdean Sandford in Dorset for a short break on a Sun £9.50 holiday. We enjoyed trying out the kids' craft activities and watching the entertainment.

Good morning Kari! It's pouring here today, but makes it even better.
Currently watching 'Sandford River' flow past the caravan! :)
It's a bit windy woo. Reminds me of being at Combe Haven during Storm Eunice and wondering if the roof was going to blow off.
@@KarionTravelling Yes it's been a little windy woo! Oh my goodness... Was it fun? I went glamping at Lowerhyde in a storm. Never again! The tent shook all night! I extended the break for 3 nights & stayed in a lovely, cute, cosy caravan. It was blissful after the glamping 'experience' :)
I’m going in one of the tents in October. Can’t wait

I’ve been going there since I was atleast 2, It’s changed so much over the years, but still holds a special place in my heart.

Such a great vlog. I'm excited, my first visit of the year there in two weeks time! I went 6 times last year. As you allude to, they constantly refresh and change things, even mid season.
Thank you so much. We've been a couple of times since I filmed this video and we still really like it there. We will go back, maybe later this year, if Jess is tall enough to take part in more of the outdoor activities
The main complex was recladded in 2021 , with the bungee trampolines and high ropes being added as well as the food outlets like street eats , however one play was removed by the fish and chip shop to make room for under cover seating area , and its been parkdean for a very long time , think it was west star originally as parkdean brought out weststar about 15 years ago

It's lovely. I don't know why, but I get American vibes. I think it's the tree lined 'street'. It's definitely worth a visit if you haven't been before.

You may be thinking this park feels new because it hasn’t long been owned by Parkdean Resorts. It was owned by Deborah Meaden from Dragons’ Den, no less! Alongside Mullion, under the brand Weststar Holiday Parks - it’s how she made her money!
I've never watched Dragon's Den, but I think I've seen Deborah on other programmes, and she seemed very thorough and demanded quality, so that would make sense. 🙂

Hi Kari...which month did you go? And what date was it please as we plan to go 14th October so trying to see what weather may be like if that makes sense
This was the middle of November, to be honest with English weather you just never know. But there is a fair bit to do come rain or shine.
@KarionTravelling oh ok so it was less packed would you say...was the pool available? And yes British weather is very unpredictable but we just have to get on with itci guess
Definitely less busy as it was closing week, we didn't know that when we booked. But going at the end of the year is fine as everything is still on.
