Thor's Canadian. He definitely was a star back in his prime. He had a bigger audience in his native land. Still they did have an audience in the states. His music was great and his videos covered all the bases. Chicks, Guitars, explosions, etc... but he never had the mass appeal that the darker metal acts had.
The live version from the Camden Palace 1984 is way better, especially with the fantastic electric guitar playing of the vastly underrated Steve Price!
A space station with a Deathstar laser, a blonde bodybuilder pretending to be a norse god, women with big tits and long legs, villains coming from a bad mad max ripoff, a skull-ripping hammer, badass HM Music in the background. To alleviate citizens' fears this live news coverage was latter "passed off" as just a music video.
God, what a terrible copy of this video classic. The original was sharp. This must have come from a bad cassette dub stored for years in some unsuitable place!
