We put the clocks forward We put the clocks back The mirror is never fooled It remains slow moving liquid cool As we speed headlong into the berzah Jinn stone of indians Narkik and faded stars The temperature is cold as clay Ash on birthday cake a wine blushing bride Stupefied our bad side's in decay Stupefied our bad side's in decay
I just got this album a week ago. this album kicks ass, cant stop listening to it. This is just as good as anything theyve ever done. love "the solo". Bauhaus is one of the few "goth" bands with a sense of humor.
@rovingstarone You can just sense the tension between Murphy and Daniel Ash! I just love the fact that this was left in. It's a shame they let a woman come between them, if you'll pardon the expression! You get the feeling they could churn out an album a week no problem. Just do a Can and record everything they do. I was probably expecting more from this LP but in fairness and with a good few plays, I would have to concede that as far as comeback records go, they don't get much better than this.
The anorexic monster The diva’s ? glove The criminal’s confession The schizophrenic spy The ballerina master The vamp (?) Stupefied our bad side’s in decay...
best song off of the album! "endless summer of the damned" is also a great song. bauhaus grabs you. they are so in the moment. there's a sense of urgency in all of their work. there's no caution involved. its rash and dangerous in its immediacy.
Adrenaline's excellent too and was the obvious lead off track (instead of the the below par Too much 21st century) on an album from a band that had been cryogenically frozen for 25 years or so,
Dude this base is so hard core I think I gannad do a Spanish hip hop song to give the group his recpect I did one ey the sample of the cure the song 3 imaginary boys no is time for peter Murphy and his crazy band hardcore mother fuckers let the music live que que viva la música coño
"right that's the solo there of some kind..."
"this is the solo!"

Bauhaus is one of the few "goth" bands with a sense of humor.
Daniel Ash’s guitar is at its best dissonant self and David J’s simple, yet hypnotic bass line carry this song.
One of the best amongst the best of Bauhaus masterpiece.
Love the bassline! 🖤🖤🖤
My favourit of that album.
Commes closest to what they did on thear earlier albums as well. ^^
Love this! It's very King Crimson for Bauhaus...
