i dont know... im still pissed about how Leonard Part 4 turned out.. (edit) i see everyone here has a diploma from the University ov Science. we are in fine fellowship and can talk about dog houses if you want?
So some of these winners are people who they don't like. The Jonas Brothers at a concert film? Seriously? I know that these awards are not supposed to be taken seriously but i feel that it is a little more bitter from their part.
Giving worst acting awards to people in documentaries and concerts is not fair. I don't understand why they gave it to Stallone so many times, many of them are quality films but don't have much for an actor to work with.
Yeah the Razzies have always had a bad reputation of aiming for what’s trendy than what’s actually bad. Sometimes they genuinely find true stinkers, but it’s usually just attention seeking stuff
I will forever be perplexed as to why individuals like Bush were nominated if 1. The film they're being nominated for are archived footage from documentaries (who in the case of these major political figures, especially if they were/are in office, would be unavailable) and 2. Unless you're Reagan a majority of these figures lack acting experiences. Even Trump's roles were mostly cameos prior to running for office. I get nominating them if they were in a film of any other genre, but I'll admit its a bit unfair to nominate those as "bad" film actors if the said film they're being nominated for is not shot like a film would normally do.
One gets the impression that the Razzies spent their first 15 years freeloading on block busters and famous names. Luckily enough it got better afterwards because there are enough unbearably silly comedies around that deserve no better.
he is a genuinely scary person. just seems like a sadistic sociopath. and he's done very sick things. He's one-note in every role no matter what it is. total creep
AN EPIC FAIL ON THE RAZZIES: Giving Sylvester Stallone the wins for *"RAMBO: First Blood, Part II",* *"ROCKY IV",* *"RAMBO III",* and then nominated him for *"ROCKY V"* and *"RAMBO: Last Blood"* (which was nominated for Worst Picture, but thankfully lost to Tom Hooper's *"CATS".)*
Most of these make sense, but some are just ridiculous, any documentary or concert role should be not considered acting anyway, so why give an award for bad acting? And the hatred for Sandler, Stallone and Costner makes no sense, I think each of them deserved one or even two that they got, but overall it was the scripts fault for many of their failures. And I'm glad that the Razzies has decided on a formal concept of not giving it to young actors, that Jaden Smith one was bs. At the same time, there were some truly horrific performances, I mostly prefer the name actors who phoned in the role, I think that is really what the Razzies should be about, nailing the people who we know can act, but just didn't give a rats ass and were collecting a paycheck... or vanity projects by well known stars in other field (Neil Diamond, Prince etc) who just didn't have the talent but thought they did. I don't mind the Stallone bashing for the Rambo sequels, as those movies were bad and goes entirely counter to the original. (But you can't tell me that Rocky IV was bad in any way)
0:48 Laurence Olivier? Isn’t he like one of the most celebrated actors of his day? I guess he was probably old and past his prime, but can you imagine how disrespected you would feel 😂 I doubt he ever even saw it, but if he did like what an insult lmao especially for an old fashioned esteemed actor like him. The idea of a “worst acting award” would be so bizarre to someone from that time, but then you win it out of every performance that entire year
@giuseppeianniello6419 a classic case of great actors in terrible films. Denzel had his Virtuosity, Halle had Catwoman, Jamie Foxx has had a bevy of stinkers before and after Ray, and don't get me started on Will "Slaphappy" Smith's numerous cheese wheels. Wild Wild West, anyone? Viola Davis has Fences and Suicide Squad (the David Ayer version) to her name. I could go on.
@giuseppeianniello6419 No, Fences wasn't terrible, but Ayer's Suicide Squad was mid at best. My point is that almost all Oscar winners have both good and horrendous movies in their resume.
@@GB3Says Viola Davis nailed it as Amanda Waller (perfect casting choice) that unfortunately was given not-so-great material to work with. Thankfully James Gunn made his version and was so much better!
Honestly most of the wins here are very valid, but i feel there were some hardcore snubs from time to time that deserved it way more than the actual winners, either be by questionable career moves, how many movies they were in (which might count them as being in an movie where they are okay, like Bruce Willis in The Siege which i don't think he was that bad), or just by how unpopular they were during that time (Ben Affleck 2003), here's some of the leading roles that i personally find deserved more in some years 1991: Vanilla Ice in Cool as Ice 1998: Carrot Top in Chairman of the Board (surprinsingly not even nominated) 1999: Matthew Broderick in Inspector Gadget (also not nominated) 2003: Tommy Wiseau in The Room (i know The Room wasn't even popular then but... let's be honest with ourselves) 2004: Ben Affleck in Surviving Christmas (i know i said he didn't deserved that hard in 2003, but he was insufferable in this film) 2009: Justin Chatwin in Dragonball Evolution (another movie that i don't understand how it was snubbed) 2016: Rob Schneider in Norm of the North (tricky nomination since it's voice role only, but still very bad) 2017: Michael Fassbender in The Snowman 2018: John Travolta in Gotti 2020: Hero Fiennes-Tiffin in After: We Collided (at the time i'm writing this none of the After movies were ever nominated and that is sad because i feel they were the easiest target they could get afterwards) 2022: Machine Gun Kelly in Good Mourning Every other winner is justified
Say what you want about Adam Sandler His movie make money especially late 90s early 2000s You can take the combined box office of all three Tom Arnold movie in 1996 they probably don't equal 10 million dollars 😒
The Razzies are weird... Some of the selections seem valid, but many don't feel justified, because of the movies these people are acting in. The majority of these films are goofy comedies and/or intentionally campy. A lot of these these actors are capable of delivering in more dramatic or serious scenes, but are more well known for their goofy and over the top performances, so they lean into that because that's what audiences want and they know what kind of movie they're in 🤷
I think the iconic Lawrence Olivier deserved the award for his stereotypical, overacted performance. (The Jazz Singer). Neil Diamond merely played himself. I liked all the songs but the movie is overall cringeworthy.
But Rambo 2 was good; why are half the films on here? Wtf why do people hate the Rambo movies? EHJFOWNDOJDBEK WHY ARE DOCUMENTARIES AND CONCERTS IN THIS THEY SHOULDNT COUNT
Personally, I HATED "Rambo, Parts II and III" along with "Rocky IV" because they were the worst Cold War reactionary propaganda films of all time and should have won the top Golden Raspberry, or Razzie, Awards for WORST movies as well! As for George W. Bush, he may not have been an actor in his life like that pathetic late former U.S. president, Ronald Reagan, but he deserved an award for being another WORST U.S. president in his lifetime, too!
yes..stallone is cool..the first rocky was great..'rocky balboa' was great..the movies in between, not so much..the first rambo film, 'first blood' was good..the rest, not so much... these awards are for specific films..the bad ones...
Rocky 4 and Rambo 2 weren't even remotely the worst films of 1985, though. Stallone's performance wasn't Razzie-worthy, either. For perspective, Death Wish 3 and Friday the 13th 5 came out the same year.
Rambo First blood was a memorable movie. I enjoy all of his movies. Never knew about Prince movie. Estelle Getty was awesome. Affleck movies are not bad. G Bush was awful.
It’s hard to judge a movie that was clearly just aimed at teens and 20 something who have been smoking a lot of pot. There’s nothing wrong with a cash grab as long as you don’t go in thinking that it’s supposed to be high art. Some of these were definitely trying to be really good and failed though. You have to assume something with Paul shore would suck. Travolta really thought he was doing good work though and that’s just sad.
Nicolas Cage definitely earns the award this year. His portrayal of Dracula in "Renfield" is a huge insult to all vampire movies. Hammy worst acting EVER!
Watching all of these clips out of context is like that scene in a movie when a film studio exec is giving the new guy a tour and showing him all the projects that they are working on. Both the new guy in the movie and we, the audience are just like 🫣

Ah, the Razzies! Reminds me of a simpler time when people thought that Leonard Part 6 was the worst thing Bill Cosby ever did!

Regardless their music is trash

@marcen12 doesn't matter their music still sucks

Without him Rocky wouldn't even exist. He wrote that movie. I think while being homeless.
agreed. Sylvester Stallone is great. @@Drachenhannes
As I once heard someone once say, it seems razzies are just the movies that are the most socially acceptable to hate not necessarily the worst
Rocky IV was shit. It was not rocky.
Because those weren't the movies he was nominated for and most of the (actually relevant) sequels were awful.
That always killed me lmao “EVERYBODY CAN CHANGE”

1987 hit different now
Adam Sandler winning for Big Daddy is ridiculous
An error in the timespan at the beginning of the video, it’s 1980-2022. But hey, errors and Razzies go hand-in-hand!
It’s because the people running the razzies don’t like bush and his politics, so they give him worst actor just to spite him
It’s all political. Far left people stop at nothing to push their own agendas. And use whatever materials they get their hands on, to do so.
Politics.
Because it's a claim that 9/11 was an inside job and Bush played the surprise and anger about it poorly.
Why is one reply viewable? What discord occurred while I was gone?
Giving George Bush a raspberry award in a documentary is pretty stupid.
Or the Jonas Brothers. Playing themselves isn’t bad acting.
Same for the Spice Girls win in the actress category.

They really don’t like Stallone.
And Costner...
They even gave him an award for "Worst Actor of the 20th Century."
It's just kind of baffling. Steven Seagal wasn't even a nominee.
That scene from Rambo 2 isn't that bad in the context of the story. Sure, the film was a bit of a joke, but Sly did what he was meant to do.
Giving Tom Green a Razzie is kinda dumb, he isn't really an actor and the entire movie was a troll
Disagree with the following: Stallone in the Rocky and Rambo Films. William Shatner, Costner in Wyatt Earp, Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck in DareDevil.
how can you ever act again when you not once... but twice where tied with Pauly Shore?
Kirk Cameron ain't fooling anyone, he does not love hot chocolate.
There is nothing genuine about him or that whole world he operates in.
@@flyingdics1 He is trying to be the new Mr Rogers....SMH
Imagining all those movies are Razzie winners, yet I found a lot of them entertaining as Hell.
One gets the impression that the Razzies spent their first 15 years freeloading on block busters and famous names. Luckily enough it got better afterwards because there are enough unbearably silly comedies around that deserve no better.
2:41 is there really 5 previous movies to this series?
No, the joke is his first five adventures were so amazing, the human mind could never comprehend them, so we’re starting at his sixth adventure.
I loved the Jazz Singer when I was a kid.
Why won't Kirk Cameron just go away?
He's the worst
He's waiting for the rapture. 😂
There's so much money in telling Christians, who dominate every aspect of American life, that they're a persecuted minority.
I just realized that Jonathan Groff could play Kirk Cameron in Cameron's biopic.
Is it wrong that I love almost all of these movies?
So many repeat winners here.
Where's Steven Seagal😮
Will Ferrell deserves a Lifetime Achievement Razzie!
id agree but... Anchorman, parts ov StepBrothers and that one scene where he takes a dart to the neck.
he is a genuinely scary person. just seems like a sadistic sociopath. and he's done very sick things. He's one-note in every role no matter what it is. total creep
3:34 this may be the least cool thing I’ve ever seen
14:31 I highly doubt that guy "created email".
The funniest thing about this list is that 2 presidents won a razzie 🤣
George bush winning the award was well deserved, but i personally never thought kevin costner or sylvester stallone are bad actors tbh....
It has to do with the bad films they were in.
@@sha11235 Yeah man that makes sense.
@@sha11235yeah but Rambo 2 and Rocky 4 are both awesome
You’re right, they aren’t bad actors, they’re terrible 😂.

AN EPIC FAIL ON THE RAZZIES:
Giving Sylvester Stallone the wins
for *"RAMBO: First Blood, Part II",*
*"ROCKY IV",* *"RAMBO III",* and
then nominated him for *"ROCKY V"*
and *"RAMBO: Last Blood"* (which
was nominated for Worst Picture,
but thankfully lost to Tom Hooper's *"CATS".)*
Either Gigli or Battlefield Earth were the biggest bombs of the 2000’s.
Who else was laughing at the unnecessary sounds in The Mummy trailer?
Bruce Willis's Armageddon, Mercury Rising and The Siege may not be considered as a great film but his performance is not that worst either
EVERTHING in "Armageddon" sucked... Including Bruce Willis. That was a paycheck flick for him. Hell, most of his films are paycheck films.
@@WilliamMoore-p4gthe unbreakable Shymalan’s trilogy is awesome and he’s a crucial part of it.

(But you can't tell me that Rocky IV was bad in any way)
Yes DocuDramas.are.hard.to.gauge since.its real life
I liked Paycheck. Not sure why, but I did.
Not gonna lie.. this one ruined half of my childhood myths 😮
I feel like they were unfair on Stallone and Sandler (accept for Jack and Jill)
Can't believe Steven Seagal or van Dam aren't here
0:48 Laurence Olivier? Isn’t he like one of the most celebrated actors of his day? I guess he was probably old and past his prime, but can you imagine how disrespected you would feel 😂 I doubt he ever even saw it, but if he did like what an insult lmao especially for an old fashioned esteemed actor like him. The idea of a “worst acting award” would be so bizarre to someone from that time, but then you win it out of every performance that entire year
Olivier himself admitted to only doing Inchon for the money and thus, didn't even try.
Kris Kristofersson too!
I'd like to thank the Academy for giving this award to Bruce Willis for "Armageddon."
Laurence Olivier tho?! Anybody can get it.
Inchon is considered one of the worst war movies ever made.
Laurence Olivier was especially criticized for his god-awful performance
@giuseppeianniello6419 a classic case of great actors in terrible films. Denzel had his Virtuosity, Halle had Catwoman, Jamie Foxx has had a bevy of stinkers before and after Ray, and don't get me started on Will "Slaphappy" Smith's numerous cheese wheels. Wild Wild West, anyone? Viola Davis has Fences and Suicide Squad (the David Ayer version) to her name. I could go on.
@@GB3Says i don’t think that Fences was terrible since, you know, she won an Oscar for the role
Biodome is a classic time capsule of a movie. Leave it alone!
What about catwoman with Halle berry

These are actors, not actresses
Affleck’s thousand mile stare in Daredevil…sorry but impossible not to laugh
Honestly most of the wins here are very valid, but i feel there were some hardcore snubs from time to time that deserved it way more than the actual winners, either be by questionable career moves, how many movies they were in (which might count them as being in an movie where they are okay, like Bruce Willis in The Siege which i don't think he was that bad), or just by how unpopular they were during that time (Ben Affleck 2003), here's some of the leading roles that i personally find deserved more in some years
1991: Vanilla Ice in Cool as Ice
1998: Carrot Top in Chairman of the Board (surprinsingly not even nominated)
1999: Matthew Broderick in Inspector Gadget (also not nominated)
2003: Tommy Wiseau in The Room (i know The Room wasn't even popular then but... let's be honest with ourselves)
2004: Ben Affleck in Surviving Christmas (i know i said he didn't deserved that hard in 2003, but he was insufferable in this film)
2009: Justin Chatwin in Dragonball Evolution (another movie that i don't understand how it was snubbed)
2016: Rob Schneider in Norm of the North (tricky nomination since it's voice role only, but still very bad)
2017: Michael Fassbender in The Snowman
2018: John Travolta in Gotti
2020: Hero Fiennes-Tiffin in After: We Collided (at the time i'm writing this none of the After movies were ever nominated and that is sad because i feel they were the easiest target they could get afterwards)
2022: Machine Gun Kelly in Good Mourning
Every other winner is justified
Olivier has always been a ham
I never understood the dig at Andrew Clay in "Ford Fairlane" I laughed all the way through that flick. People never understood his satire.
Say what you want about Adam Sandler His movie make money especially late 90s early 2000s You can take the combined box office of all three Tom Arnold movie in 1996 they probably don't equal 10 million dollars 😒
I never understood all the Costner-hate...
About half of these weren’t even that bad 💀
You have low standards.
other than tom green and william shatner who else directed themselves
Olivier did win for that role, but in the Worst Supporting Actor category

There should be razzy game awards
i thought mercury rising was a really good movie
Personally, I HATED "Rambo, Parts II and III" along with "Rocky IV" because they were the worst Cold War reactionary propaganda films of all time and should have won the top Golden Raspberry, or Razzie, Awards for WORST movies as well! As for George W. Bush, he may not have been an actor in his life like that pathetic late former U.S. president, Ronald Reagan, but he deserved an award for being another WORST U.S. president in his lifetime, too!
People at the razzies don’t like music I guess 😂some of these were music films from what I gathered.
You should see the actress one. There's several in a row.
What’s with the political movies?
Then there was Fahrenheit 911
Razzies are a complete joke with some of there nominations, Scarface got nominated for example
Don't know why they put Daredevil for Ben Affleck and just left it as GIgli as it was the real terrible movie of 2003
Is Kevin Costner really that bad?
Yes
No
laurence won one O_O
yes..stallone is cool..the first rocky was great..'rocky balboa' was great..the movies in between, not so much..the first rambo film, 'first blood' was good..the rest, not so much...
these awards are for specific films..the bad ones...
Ryan O'Neal and Ali McGraw? Oop..
Travolta really thought he was doing good work though and that’s just sad.
a few of these are genuinely bad acting... others seem to be either sour grapes, or characters that are supposed to be hammy.
Wyatt Earp is better than tombstone
