New Archmage is _cracked;_ at 2000 mana, it's doubling the damage of all spells, tripling at 4000 and so on. And this is on a _buff,_ you get to add that to a six link. Hell, even the mana cost is less prohibitive, as it just adds a flat percentage of max mana to spell costs instead of changing the base cost.
