This receipt functions as a record for the government to track that the business owners collect the taxes from the purchases. So, in order to encourage the consumers to obtain receipts after a purchase to help government’s tracking on tax collections, the government made the receipts into a kind of public lottery thing. Every two months there will be a drawing for the jackpot. You should have kept it. However, you dropped it in the receipt donation box for a charity group, which is also a good thing😊.

Taiwan’s GDP ranks 22nd in the world (more than any country in Southeast Asia) 5. Most of the multi-millionaires in Taiwan live in the central part of the country 6. Taiwan’s passport allows visa-free access to 112 countries
