These are great tutorials. Just started using Adobe Illustrator. Your videos are clear and precise and easy to follow. Have already successfully followed your flat pot plant and lamp. Might attempt your on off lamp soon.
I am a 12 years old kid and i regularly watch your videos and create beautiful thing on AI and my parents were totally impressed by me, SO Thank you so much!!
Jelas dan santai tutorial nya. Jadi mudah di fahami .. Saya suka cara anda menjelaskan. Terima Kasih sudah berbagi, maaf saya hanya menggunakan bahasa Indonesia ...memyukai semua vidio anda
Decided to learn Illustrator and found your tutorials. These are so great! You are a great teacher, you explain very well and don't skip a step. Thank you for sharing your talent!
Hats off and thank you sir . No other tutorial explains Illustrator tools in depth. I was able to make this illustration in 5 mins without prior experience.
Please upload more complicated videos where we can discover a lot of new and trending things in illustrator! Thanks for these awesome videos! I enjoy them everyday as a beginner.
Thanks so much brother. Always learning sth new from these vids. And also end up being able to do exactly what the instructions require. Keep up the good work.
Great lesson. I managed to make a table lamp according to your lesson. I don’t understand English, but I managed to do it together in you. I don’t have a job now, I was fired from work. Now I'm a beginner in Adobe Illustrator. I want to become an illustrator. Hello from Russia
I had just started learning Ai this week and your tutorials are soo simple to understand! LOVE your work thankuuu for making such a daunting task feel easy
Hi Spencer - loving your tutorials. Can you make a video on how to make this same lamp as a live lamp (animation - like someone has switched on the lamp) in After Effects or in any other software
Hi Spencer - been loving your tutorials! For this lamp, this you are working off the board, how do you move the lamp in the off and on modes to the board so that they stay together? Thanks!
This tutorial was so helpful! Thank you so much :) I needed to learn how to make a light gradually vanish at the end and thanks to your video I could do it! :D
I just buy adobe yesterday and i will take this project to try learn how i use it .. thank u for the details my friend i think this video will help me thanks again 🖐🏻
Thanks for tutorials.I have a question about color mode.If client need logo for digital and print then which color mode we have to use for that logo?I will be happy if you answer it.
useful tutorial. I just pick it from the color circle like while drawing in a normal raster. PS dark shades of complex colors would be better than black for the shadows
Awesome :) .. Can you please add a video on how to choose color for illustration? The way you put those colors amazes me :D.... Love to know how to get an idea on what splash to use and their combos
Thank you for the video! When I use my rectangle tool it automatically has a fill. If I'm putting it over an existing shape, it makes it hard to see the objects underneath. I want to be able to see through it when I'm deciding the size of the rectangle. Which settings should I change??? ( This is only my second project in illustrator).
Great tutorial... since you asked if you had missed anything .. yes, you’ve forgotten to give us some nice background shades to apply the lampshade to. You’ve got a great eye for colour ❤️ Edit: how about a chair to go with the lampshade 🙃
I followed the first steps but I couldn't get two separate shapes (the lamp and the shade as it is in the video. it was still one block which is a bit confusing edit: I know my mistake, I haven't clicked on the top of that shape.
@@pixelandbracket Oh and when I fill my shapes with a colour, it either does not fill or the fill only shows where two shapes overlap. What could I be doing wrong?

Awesome :) .. Can you please add a video on how to choose color for illustration? The way you put those colors amazes me :D.... Love to know how to get an idea on what splash to use and their combos
When I pull up the color picker and explain the saturation/shade/hue that’s really how I pick!
Perfect :) Will Experiment more and try for myself :) thanks again.. Keep Rocking.....
I’ll of course add that to video ideas for the future 👍
Looking forward :)
I have subscribed your channel... nice bro
Tks. Perfect tutorial.

Thank you very much!
Thank you thank you so much but, then how can I present and save this work. I want to click on and off like a video?
It’s good but I’m still getting that white area alongwith light from lamp, how to get it sorted?
I learned a lot! Thank you
Thank you for the video! When I use my rectangle tool it automatically has a fill. If I'm putting it over an existing shape, it makes it hard to see the objects underneath. I want to be able to see through it when I'm deciding the size of the rectangle. Which settings should I change??? ( This is only my second project in illustrator).
You could just have a stroke on your rectangle which would be like an outline without the fill
thank you !
thanks lot brother ...
Thank you 😊 ❤ great tutorial

Nice
I followed the first steps but I couldn't get two separate shapes (the lamp and the shade as it is in the video. it was still one block which is a bit confusing
edit: I know my mistake, I haven't clicked on the top of that shape.

I love you
When I click shift and arrow key to expand it expands out too much. How to fix?
just use arrow keys without holding shift
@@pixelandbracket It still bumps it out like an inch or so. Where/how do I adjust that?
preferences > general > keyboard increment
@@pixelandbracket Oh and when I fill my shapes with a colour, it either does not fill or the fill only shows where two shapes overlap. What could I be doing wrong?
@@pixelandbracket Thanks! It worked. I was getting really frustrated just now... Can you help with the colour issue too?
