When I lived in Florida I attended A Baptist church down the road from me. One Easter Sunday our Pastor announced that we had a special guest. Charles came on stage, mind you, I never heard of him or this song. Oh my! It brought everyone to their feet. Clapping and praising the Lord. There was not a dry eye in the house. Gods' spirit was surely in His house that day. I still listen to this song to lift me up and it still brings me to tears.
Nobody sings that song better than Charles, he is a blessing. Glory be to God
This has to be the voice of Jesus singing., my whole body goes numb., and I feel Jesus' presence. Thank you Mr. Billingsley for using your "special gift", that he has given you, to bring so many to the Throne..

I was there that night and what you can't see are over 10,000 people crammed into that auditorium with an overflow crowd in the Ruth Lindsay auditorium. Back then you could barely get a seat during the Pastors Conference.
People can sing like Charles (...but not many); but Charles includes a passion for what he sings--and often inclusion of the congregation in song. That puts Charles over the top, in my opinion.

I love both Michael English and Charles Billingsley - I was a part of the choir from FBC to sing backup for Charles in this video - believe me when you are in there in person it is a wonderful blessing - you have to not argue over who's style is better than the other, but just accept the gift right before your eyes - they are both wonderfully blessed and gifted singers - its the message that's most important
The saints who sang these songs to us, most really were on loan. They have gone back to the Father who gave them His Spirit. At 73, I’m in
the “Next Line” and realize that time here should be used to get to know HIM. All these passed before me without dread, they loved God.
Charles Billingsley is at the top of my list as being a wonderful Christian singer and definitely sings from his heart on every song. I simply love all his singing and sure lifts me up.

I have had the pleasure of seeing Charles sing live at Fortified Baptist years ago...his voice is a true blessing to witness to people of God's love for us...thank you Lord for giving us Charles to share your word in music.
Charles and Guy Pernod are my favorites without doubt! Have you heard Charles sing Down From His Glory? It is beyond wonderful!!!!!!i have been fortunate to see him in person several times..just last month. I can truly worship our glorious Savior with his music.

The first time I heard Charles, I had just turned the channel and it was a mid song musical interlude. He was in front but kinda in this middle of the TRBC choir, he barely stand three words, and those were my EXACT WORDS. I haven't stopped listening to him since. For years his music was the only music I listened to. What a gift
