Taycan drives like a 911…this says all. Range of the taycan isn’t really a problem since it is actually a quite efficient EV. I’m able to consistently get around 300 miles with full charge under normal driving conditions on my taycan GTS. The problem is charging stations, Taycan can charge really fast with its 800v architecture as long as the charging station can supply 350 kw and more.
To drive the Taycan is fantastic and feels quite special. (i test-drove one) If it wasn't for the range and depreciation i would buy one in a heartbeat.
I would consider driving it first and going over cost of ownership first. We just sold our Porsche and it wasn’t cheap to service. We just bought a brand that offers 2 year’s maintenance and 100k warranty 😊
A base model Tesla 3 is a 40k car and an entry level Porsche EV is over 100k. A model 3 is as fast 0-60 as a 4s so it’s hard to compare the two brands . I have a Tesla but I’m switching to Porsche
The lines going down on the front end by the headlights, look really crappy like the tail lights of a recent Camry, where it has the droopy black line. What a bad design idea.
Is the next video is the Porsche Taycan better then a Toyota Camry? The premise makes no sense comparing a top of the line luxury car maker with a at best premium car maker. The only cross shopping of a Taycan is with the Model S Plaid but even then they appeal to different segments. The Plaid for the fans of absolutely insane straight line acceleration. And the Taycan to fans of a luxury sports sedan that excels in its handling and refinement.
EVs look too basic and boring. They didn't even put privacy shades in the back windows. Basic Steering Wheel. I just can't do EV. I might be all in when the designs look like a Petroleum vehicle and the miles range goes from 230 to 500! Don't need a frunk just throw in an additional battery system and raise the miles range.
If you’re looking for premium quality and a long heritage of performance than this is your answer. If quality isn’t your number one want, and ease of use is, than Tesla wins
Unless you're a over the road trucker, range is really a non issue. 300 miles not enough? I've been on many road trips in my Taycan and food or bathroom breaks always come before a recharge. People also fail to understand that I can pull up to a EA station last and leave first. I'd much rather have faster charging than 500 miles.
250 miles range is enough for most people since most people stop every few hours on a road trip anyway. The key is charger availability which as long as Porsche is not part of NACS makes road trips a challenge in my Taycan.
I am in the market for the best ev available and thought people love Porsche I’ll take a look at one... this is first video I see. This is like a souped up Toyota Camry. Literally nothing remarkable about it. I don’t see the appeal at all minus I like the exterior. Feel like there is some brand brainwashing going on here
The clock looks stupid sitting up there. It looks like a stupid clock from the 50s wind up alarm clock.

The key fob is DATED...come on Porsche!
💯 Test drive them. Hands down the Taycan wins. I was surprised at how poorly built the Model S is.
Porsche is better than tesla , always ....
Yeah as a Porsch fan and Tesla hater, you’re right man, peace

If it wasnt for the price I would buy one too 😂
I’ll comment on the range. I have one and consistently get around 300 miles. I like Tesla (had one) that promised a lot and delivered less.
This must be a sign to pull the trigger, I was just building one on Porsches website about 15 minutes ago. Now I’m absolutely buying one.

@@Spoolingturbskihow x much was maintenance
Get a used one they are like 50k off sticker price already
I test drove it and ended up getting a model S. You can pick up a used Plaid for $70,000 now.
The new white and the black cayennes in the parking! Wow 🔥 please do review on new cayenne suv
Tesla base is a fraction of the price of this, can’t really compare.
The base version for 123,000 dollars?
Watching this made me love my white ext./white int. 2023 Model 3 even more

M3P with coilovers over this?
You mentioned soft touch dash so is this the one without standard leather? I’m surprised there’s stitching on the doors and such.
That is the upgraded leather. The base doesn't have the stitching on the dash and doors.
Good quality but needs a lot of power. Low powered compared to it's weight. Price point is not competitive either
Is it the same as the 2020 Taycan?
Yes, for all intents and purposes!
The lines going down on the front end by the headlights, look really crappy like the tail lights of a recent Camry, where it has the droopy black line. What a bad design idea.
This is first class vs cabin for Tesla!
Aesthics cool. Interior avg slackin for 120k mark

Porsche owners 🙄
Cant wait to get one of these at auction and drop a V8 in it
Range is a deal breaker

People also fail to understand that I can pull up to a EA station last and leave first. I'd much rather have faster charging than 500 miles.
No it’s not. The issue is the ability to charge fast. I drive 70 miles a day and I charge my Taycan at home every 2 days.
I have one and the range is great. Where you trying to go?
Agreed. Taycan will always be a grocery-getter and not a road trip car.
I'm not putting a dime on this sled until it reaches 350+ m per charge.

Nice🇸🇦
You pay more than half of the amount just for the brand name. Old school ev 😂 it's got nothing special but Porsche logo.
No big display, low range, look not great hence maybe not worth the cost. No screen no map. So basic .
Please give me one trust 🙏
No Range Ultra Inferior to Tesla
Porsche is better than tesla
Tesla isn’t anywhere near the same league as Porsche. You’re comparing a chocolate from Walmart with a box of the finest Belgian chocolates
You're only fooling yourself
Tesla killer
Lees trunk, more cab space
The colour is bad
Tesla seems the better deal. Longer range. Faster charging. More power and cheaper. Bummer.
But Tesla is crap. Build quality is bad. The brakes are bad etc.
No the Chevy Bolt is a way better deal then the Tesla!
Teslas are built like crap.
It's also a piece of shit so
@@MauriceBln1Agree But Most Of The Driver Only Care About Price And Range
This car is basic and boring
Range LOLOL what range that kind of range that you will never needed, televised /advertised zzzzombies.
