Worst things to hear: your mother shouting your first middle and last name when you’re in trouble

The last words you would ever hear.
@@lnflixity, Doctor: Unfortunately, you're gonna die... *Cries because of your imminent death*
As a kid who was adopted while she was a teen, I actually enjoyed being called adopted cause it made me feel like I was wanted.
And I enjoy being called short, even though it said stuff about males and I’m not male.
@@Yuekitty Same for me, except I'm tall. People like teasing me about it but honestly it just boosts my confidence every time haha
@@Yuekitty “you are significantly under the average height of a human being of your gender, age and physique, and you must grow exponentially before I will give you any amount of the concept commonly referred to as respect, meaning I care for and value your opinions and existence, but that is all meaningless because *you are short.*”
@@Yuekitty usually when someone calls me short I take it as a compliment because I’d probably be terrified of my height if I were an inch taller lll
Is it normal for me to hear someone say that im useless i flip sh*t and starts shouting insults
“ there’s no candies in the house “
I can confirm this is so depressing to hear. My mom once said this and I was crying for days. I’m fine now though. She waved a lollipop in my face and I ate it.
yes i often got childhood trauma from this
sorry if this is an offensive joke
Yeah. I cried so hard knowing that there was no chocolate in the house. I cried for about 2 hours straight.. luckily my dad came home and bought me 7 bars of hazelnut chocolate (not kidding he actually did do it)

The worst has to be It’s all in your head, it’s something that not only parents but people of all ages use to manipulate you into thinking you’re insane. It makes you feel worthless or stupid. And second in the list is We need to talk, it makes you feel threatened or needing to hide from an authority or whoever is saying it. Both can also affect if you wanna shed some light to your parents (or whoever your tryna vent with) and the daily human psyche.
Mom: I gave birth to you!
Me: Don’t be so hard on yourself, we all make mistakes!

I personally feel like being told that you're adopted is kinda a good thing to hear because it says that your parents chose you to love instead of having a child of their own or adopting a different child
I have a question, have you seen your birth parents?
@@HNR.HelloIKillU some birth parents loved their biological child but they had to give them away cause they had nothing to take care of them, it breaks my heart when I heard not all biological parents hate their children 😢
Like who cares about some "You got adopted because your real parents don't love you" when you're lucky enough to be adopted by a difference person who actually does love you? Either way, you're still loved by someone in the world.
These brought up enough of my childhood trauma as it is, but I think the one at 100% should be a doctor diagnosing a terminal illness.
That is true
I swear my dad said when he was 8 he took the bus alone
yeah like mine
@@Jose-Campos. i took the bus alone at 6 is that a flex?
Really tho. Like every time when I’m with my mom or dad they talk about how they lost weight or how they got straight A’s in every class. Like I don’t really give a shit about it. Next thing you know my mood goes do a lot and my parents tell me to smile more when I can’t sometimes.
The "calm down" one is so true. Whenever my sister told me that words, I end up getting angry more😂
@Joseph Boughton "calm down" followed by an explanation is good assuming the explanation is good unless the person is irrational or just dislikes being told what to do.

Calm down
Feels like the word has some kind of sarcasm or irony
"Did you know there is an exam today?" This is the worst to hear
one of my classmates says this as joke sometimes :D
IKR
Or “You did the homework too, right?”
Why? these stupid people think a exam is hard huh, just study and thats it ez.
@@WeeWunda for me it's nothing, I just do it before class starts and just turn it in before the teacher comes, and exams are EZ
For me it also depends on how the speaker says this i.e. their tone and body language matter too. And "the question was easy" when you fail to answer an exam question hurts too
even known that a single kid in the class of 22 kids got it right...
tone and who the speaker is are 100% a very important factors in the words, if a stranger told me that I shouldn't have been born I would laugh and forget about it, if it was my friend or family member I would want to fold like a piece of paper then get baked in an oven
as for tone if my mom said "i made you" in a funny tone i would by default find it funny, if she said it during an argument, angrily, very different
I don't hate the phrase "we need to talk" in fact I like to hear what they have to tell me, regardless of whether it's good or bad
Nah you don’t have strict parents
We need to talk
Ooh! Yk I think that's a really positive perspective!
I think the "we need to talk" ment if your a male and you have a girlfriend, your girlfriend says that.
Imagine your teacher or parents said that
I have anxiety and stress problems so I really hate it when people tell me to just calm down because it triggers me even more then I already am that it sometimes gets to the point where I’ll lash out which I don’t wanna do
I hate hearing my mom yell at my brother, my dad even less. I hate getting yelled at, and for some reason every time I hear something went extinct I lose a lot of hope.

1:10 is so true! Telling someone to “calm down” is NEVER gonna work
My PE teacher once told me "it's all in your head" when I was extremely anxious, depressed and sui-. Yeah it ended up in a big meltdown
Hearing stuff like “you’re making it up” or “you’re fine” when you’re severely depressed and have various more mental health issues kinda hurts. Luckily, my mother has become more accepting of my problems and now she is more willing to help me overcome my problems! I’m sorry for all of you who have heard something similar like this and I hope you feel better, children/people in general deserve to feel accepted and understood.
I felt really hurt after watching this video because, when I was at the age 12 me and my younger sister had a huge argument, and when she said "I WISH YOU WERE NEVER MY SISTER!!!" after finishing the huge argument I felt really hurt and my close friend gave company...

“Calm down” and “Relax” is the most annoying thing that someone told me.Not once not twice but a lot of times.
As someone with Anger Management Issues I Hate being told "Calm down" in any form but even more so in those words. in the moment it doesn't help and it 100% of the time makes it way worse
I actually sort of hate people making fun of me and calling me “ugly” at school, I have some rare skin conditions but nonstop people calling me ugly finds me 89% hate
"You're adopted" and "I made you" was basically casual banter between my mom and I.

You forgot "it could be worse." Is that supposed to make me feel better? It just makes me feel like you don't think my struggles are valid. Thanks a lot.
The worst thing someone ever said to me was being “a secondhand embarrassment” ouch ;-;
The worst or best thing could be a call from the hospital if a loved one is there. It could be the hospital calling you to pick them up, saying they might be coming home tomorrow, they're staying another day, or that they have passed away.

Being adopted is literally the best thing that can possibly happen to a child! Not only does it basically guarantee parents that actually want you, because they CHOSE to adopt you, but also, in most first world countries, requirements for adoption are insanely high, meaning that most adoptive parents are fucking loaded! I wish I was adopted!
I don't understand kids that cries after discovering they were adopted and hate their parents, they should be greatfull they don't live with their biological parents, there's nothing such "no reason of giving my child to adoption", so these idiots just

2. Don't deserve to see you, so you, as a kid/teen/etc don't wanna meet them ever again in whole life.
@@Charles_Mortals Ok its not really the fact that they were adopted, but the fact that they feel lied to for all tgeir life. Like how would you feel if you as a baby were adopted and never knew, lived life with what you thought was your real parents but 15- 16 years later you find out your adopted

Most of all I really do hate the ‘I was Married at your age!’
It’s because now, it’s society expectation that the average man gets married and has kids, and this isn’t happening as much anymore and do you want to why? People are being too picky with girls and boys and since there people don’t really know what they are looking for, their expectations are too high and so they think they are gonna bump into some guy who is 6’2, blonde, has no acne, plays 4 sports and has the best personality you can wish for?! When I ask someone what they look for most in someone they are thinking on the inside looks, but they don’t want to say that in case they get stick for it, so instead they go for the safe option of saying ‘personality’ and so I’ll then ask them why, and then they’ll come up with some half finished answer which doesn’t really have much to do with what I’ve asked them; people are too scared to say what they think nowadays because they want to say the right things to satisfy the society in the world in which we live in. People are looking for some kind of miracle and the fact is they probably won’t find it. People need to lower their sights and be more humble in my opinion.

I don't think to hear to be adopted is sad etc.
I think it is very good to hear that bc:
-ur parents are telling the truth, and most parents are keeping that in a secret to the end of their lifes
- ur parents went to the adoption centre, not bc of that, that they want to hate u etc., But bc they wanted a child that they would love, and a child that would love them
- ur the choosen one, bc there are so many childrens in a adoption centre
- most of the adoption centres are in a bad quality
- most children enjoys more home than adoption centre
So if u hear something like that from ur parents, don't be sad, be happy
I told my brother he was adopted once and he started crying his eyes out, we were extremely young back then, I was 6, he was 4, but I remember telling him in the garden whilst we were playing round the fountain, he then went running and crying to my mother and she gave me a punishment. It was hilarious tbh and I don't regret it. Well apart from being told off. I remember what I told him so well as well. It went something like this:
"Hey (insert my brother's name) did you know you're adopted?"
"What? No I'm not, liar."
"Yeah you are, mum told me, you just don't remember since you were a baby then."
"Why hasn't she told me then?"
"Because she didn't want to upset you."
And then he went crying to our mother. Idk how he fell for it actually.
