I TOTALLY missed this question! I'm super sorry! I extended my Visa at the office. You can say you're "looking for work" and then get a 6 month Visa. After this 6 month period, I will obtain a yearlong Visa, but with a letter/form that acknowledges I work for myself. The Visa situation tends to change a lot so this advice is literally subject to change tomorrow. haha!!

I practice all the time with my Khmer friends and out and about in town. They tell me my pronunciation is good! I plan to be fluent over the course of the next year/two years.
Omg of course love! I have since moved house and I live in Svay Dangkum. I'll do a full video soon. I live in a building that is $350/month -- SUPER modern. It's 5 for water/month. And for the electricity about $20. That's without using AC. The most I've ever paid is around $50 in the HOTTEST of hot season. Balcony, weekly cleaning and linen change, 24/7 security, perfect landlords, Moto park area, elevator. What's not to love!!
You need to learn Khmer songs,dance the apsara dances,learn to paint,to carve,to sew,to knit,weave baskets,make pottery,compose poetries,perfect your Khmer language skills,there is no shortage of artist like yourself in Cambodia.I don't know how you could even be alone in Cambodia.Learn Khmer cuisine,learn to diffuse landmines or something.....😁

There is no need to envy. You are able to make this move just as well as I have. If you are craving something else in your life, that is your intuition and inner voice telling you that you are NOT in alignment right now. There's no time to waste in your life. There is only this one opportunity. You can let go of worry now. Everything is in accordance.
