Crete Road Trip and Tips for Travel | Greece

This is a 7 day road trip around of Crete, Greece. In this video I would like to share my family road trip experience and give you some tips if you're planning to visit Crete as well.
We drove around west and south of Crete, visiting many cities and towns along the way such as Heraklion, Rethymno, Chania, Frangokastelo and Agia Galini fishing village.
At the same time we explored the nature, like Mili Gorge, Preveli Palm Tree Forest, wonderful beaches, like Elafonissi, Seitan Limani, Kommos and Orthi Ammos.
Also one of my favourite parts was trying out the local cuisine, for which we included a visit to Biolea olive oil farm and Iliana Malihin winery.

if you go there, take at least a night around. Perfect place during mornings and evenings :)

I’m going to Chania for two weeks in July, tempted to see if I can hire a bicycle to the east end and back in that time wild camping. But also don’t wanna rush 🤔

What's not to love? It's not Lithuania. 😉
If you like Crete, you might like Cyprus as well. A beautiful island. But you better avoid the summer heat.

Hello, I’m glad that the video is useful to you 🙂 we stayed near Chania in Georgia Vicky Studios & Apartments. In Frangokastello it was Anthos Hotel, but we booked it because the one we liked next door was booked out (Paradisos Studios). But both are very similar and they are in neighboring houses. Have a great trip 😊👍
