Weird??? just today 21st Nov 24 I thought of Bob Miles . I believe that I worked at Bryce Berger the same time as he did. I didn't know that he worked at Cottons. I worked there on a lathe under Jock until I got to the standard of 'lathe operator' when I got a job at Bryce Berger. I left there to go next door to work at Jamesbury Serk because they paid a bit more per hour. I'm now 82. Strange I thought of him before I knew this video existed.
Fantastic, it would be great if you were able to come along to the Rally on the 2nd Saturday in August (9th of August 2025), it's a great chance for fellow Cotton workers to meet up and share memories.

Pre-war Cottons were fantastic machines.
Well one of those chaps replaced my husband who worked there from April 1959 to about August 1961
