Windows 10 Screenshots are not being saved in Pictures folder

- Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
Find ScreenshotIndex
If its not there create it
Now, change its value data to 695
Now, Go to :
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
Find {B7BEDE81-DF94-4682-A7D8-57A52620B86F}
If its not there create it
Double click on it and Make sure its value data is %USERPROFILE%\Pictures\Screenshots
finally reboot your pc

so where am i supposed to find my screenshots again? I checked where a i usually go for screenshots but no screenshots are being saved
THANK YOU !!!! My Screenshots folder HAD been saving seamlessly until a few days ago; I think problem coincided with this recent windows update ... I capture screenshots SO frequently, so was VERY frustrated that suddenly functionality disappeared. Your video was spot ON ! Only suggestion...with that first string {B7BEDE81-DF94-4682-A7D8-57A52620B86F} that I DID have to create as it was NOT there, I had to review your vid several times to see that it was create new "string" that had to be selected. Can NOT tell you how relieved I am to have be screenshots back, what a FANTASTIC step by step you provided. Very good karma coming your way. tx again

My computer worked fine and so did screenshots UNTIL l I did the Windows 10 update, that they CONSTANTLY pestered me to do. That is why I had to come to this site to get screenshots to work again. THANKS Microsoft !

Hi, may I ask why the screenshot is not being saved? Before this my new laptop functions well by automatically directly saved to screenshot file.
I did this but it did not work when using windowskey+shift+s. Do I have to manually create the screenshots folder also?
guys i write it Screenshotindex didnt write it ScreenshotIndex 'i' is small and didnt solved when i write it capital its say the name exist and i cant find the exist one !

Actually, I change the location of screenshots from the default folder in pictures to D drive. Now the screenshots are saving directly in D drive, not in a folder named "screenshots". so I wanted them to save in D drive but in a folder name screenshots.
BTW I am using windows 10.

@@shubhambhavsar6933 the problem is that I don't have a screenshot's folder so I can't even locate it to somewhere
@@bekamamuladze3416 this is exactly what had happened to me, you can only create a screenshot folder if you follow the steps,
of editing the registry files
@@bekamamuladze3416 in order to create a screenshot folder, right-click on empty space at the desired location in registry editor and then create new, and try to create new folder named as screenshot.
Bruh im so confused at the end its not userprofile screenshots if its not it then what should we do about it to make it userprofile screenshots?
Press windows key+E then in the address bar type shell:screenshots to locate the folder.

this just made a quick access file for screenshots instead of to downloads. screenshots still saving to an unknown folder. or its just fucking with me and not saving anywhere
