If navi mumbai campus is good? Regarding placement
Pros -
1. World class campus and faculties
2. Top College for HR & finance
3. Large alumni network
Cons:
1. Huge batch size around 900 which makes placements process too competitive.
2. The entire cost of MBA from NMIMS along with accomodation and other expenses would be around 40 lacs.
3. One student one job policy
4. Extremely strict rules.

@@niravdedhia1797 it means ki if a student gets accepted by one company, he can't sit in interviews for others. So it limits the chances of a good job. Other colleges mein ap multiple interviews k liye Beth skte ho even if you are already selected toh baad m aapke pass option hota h choose krne ka.

As an aspiring marketer i just wanna point out that you gotta give credit to nmims Marketing team this year they truly are making effort so that students dont miss the registration. Literally every major MBA yt channel has made a video about it
It's really great to see myself on the other side. Just a year ago I was watching your videos on how to crack Nmat. Although I scored 270 marks and got selected, I want to tell that nmims is not even close to what it was happened to be. The batch size is insane, almost 800 students and it's really getting difficult to get placed for summer placements. Apart from that, because of the lack of campus things are getting harder. My honest suggestion will be if you don't have any option please then only consider nmims and not otherwise.

Can you also throw some light on overall cost ? The general fees is given 24 lakh but people are telling it's 40 lakh overall.
@@zalakmajithiya5173that's becoz it doesn't provide hostel/accomodation and Mumbai is extremely expensive so boarding food travel will easily cost around 8 lacs or more

You didn't memtion the cons of NMIMS.
1st- Pay for NMAT (counts only 1st attempt)
2nd- Pay for the NMIMS form
3rd- Pay for interview
4th- Pay 24 lakh fees for a 2-year MBA program (without hostel)
5th- living expense in Mumbai minimum 45000 per month.
Including other minor expenses the minimum expense for a 2-year MBA programme is around Rs 37 lakh. Which is far more expensive than any tire-1 Indian b-school (except ISB). NMIMS should learn from NITIE, SPJAIN, SJMSM, Jio Institute, and BITSoM. These all are tire-1 mba colleges located in Mumbai as NMIMS does. Their fees are much less than NMIMS (they also provide hostel facilities which NMIMS doesn't). NMIMS is only for rich kids. Middle-class people should target other top MBA institutes where fees are reasonable and also provide hostel facilities like old and new IIMs, IITs, FMS, TISS, SIBM etc. Believe me, having a hostel saves a lot of energy.
Also they don't have a campus, just a building!! And then also charging such high fees,
also because of some gud placements their avg package got increased but their median is low around 17-18lpa after spending almost 30lpa

Only problem is their batch size (1200 - nmims mumbai) and high fees, some student got gud placement which raises their overall avg package but the median is around 16lpa
last year the median was 23lpa

Mam Batch size is so large as compare to iim you don't cover cons of Batch size
The problem with NMIMS is that they have very big batch size of around 700 and they do not have any campus of its own....which increase the expense by 4 to 5L.....considering its a 40+ yr old colg we should be comparing it with old bchools and not baby iims

Why It has 2 step process why students need to pay fees two times. If NMAT is only for NMINS they why did they asked separate form. It is completely rediculous.
NMAT isn’t only for NMIMS..nmat exam is applicable over 70+ business schools all over the globe

Hii Mam vraj here , I got (80.66 %) in 10th and (90.66 %) in 12th,,, I don't understand which IIM AHMEDABAD's.... Marks criteria it will fulfill

Thank you soooo much!! I recieved this as another comment regarding hostel - let me confirm about it once. Regarding batch size, IIM-A also has a batch size of 400 and I felt it always helped learn from as many people as possible.
Checked with their team - all NMIMS campuses have hostels. Could you help me understand if this wasn't the case last year?
@@Shweta-Arora My bad... I guess 2-3 years back they were not giving accommodation... Coming to batch size, NMIMS Mumbai has a batch size of 600...I totally agree with what you said... More people, more learning but at the end when it comes to placement, it is every man for himself and you can't compare NMIMS to IIM A... You also know it...There is a stiff competition among 600 students and only top 50℅ get good role and package...

Collab video to hai hi, bataya to hai video mein. And from what I know, NMIMS has hostels, please correct me if I'm wrong. It is one of the best MBA institutes in India tbh, you can check its alumni for a reference.

@@Himanshu-up9ygtbh, saare hi MBA colleges ka esa scene hai - they have realised that students are desperate to apply to multiple colleges and exams and hence this case. I'd strongly recommend that if finance is a reason, opt for colleges with much better ROI like TISS, FMS, JBIMS

Mam I have a problem I am filling the cat form again because after filling the form I got caste certificate, and now my problem is that I am living in Haryana or address is also of Haryana in aadhaar card id and Now i got the central obc-ncl certificate from UP, Can you clear that after filling the form again, I will not face any problem whether the caste certificate is from some other state?

My EWS certificate was issued in July 2022 for a validity of one year. As the last date of registration was approaching I submitted this one in the CAT form, as the certificate for 2023-24 was not made by that time.
Will they accept it? Will it affect my shortlisting for calls?
At least it won't affect shortlists because they don't check each certificate manually. But, during document verification at the time of interviews, you'll need an updated one.

Hey mam ,can u please help me with my doubt regarding the preparation of DILR. I don't know if i should revise some sets which are tricky or their approach is different or new to me.
