      @@EML.. The 4th of August regime was literally Royalist? King George II had more power than Metaxas in that regime lol

It is clear you have no idea what you are talking about or you simply choose to ignore the facts due to your personal political beliefs (which makes no sense since Metaxas was fanatically monarchist.) The 4th of August regime was created by the orders of the King. Metaxas was in charge of interior matters while the army and the foreign policies were under George. Furthermore there was no decision that would go forward without the approval of the King. Now when it comes to "defending Greece" that was done by the entire high command which yes includes all generals and the King. After the death of Metaxas in 1941 the duties of the prime minister were taken entirely by King George until the end of the war where he continued to lead the Greek army in the new command in Cairo.
