Here's my ranking of the 4 Kung Fu Panda movies. 4. Kung Fu Panda 4 - As I'm writing this review, I actually just got back home from watching it in theaters. Is it the weakest of the bunch? Yeah, it is. But that in no way means it's bad. I quite enjoyed it. Finding someone new to be your successor isn't an easy task, and while the emotional hook isn't quite there, I can see what they were going for, and I applaud them. It sucks that the Furious Five were absent from the film, but sometimes, change is necessary. Similar to what Po had to go through. I dig it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (8/10) 3. My personal opinion 1. Kung Fu Panda 2: I really love the darke mood and settings of this movie, and the Lord shen is definitely one of my favorite viallain in animated movies❤ 2. Kung Fu Panda 1: it is such a good introduction movie of the series. I also like Tai lung but not as I like shen though 3. Kung Fu Panda 3: I think they could have make the villain Kai better to be honest... but I liked it 4. Kung Fu Panda 4: ALMOST NO FURIOUS 5?? And I was really looking forward to see Shen shine (?)..... But still a good movie
As someone who has already watched it, I need to tell you: keep your expectations low. This movie is not going to be good if you think it's going to be 10/10 movie. (I'm not saying that this movie is bad, for me it is 8.5/10)
I just got back from seeing Kung Fu Panda 4 last night and I gotta say, it’s pretty good. Definitely has some issues, but there was a-lot to like. For me personally, it’s an 8.5/10.
For me it’s 4 KFP 3 the weakest one still had fun with it 3:KFP 4 I had fun with it 2:KFP 2 easily the best 1 KFP 1 The Goat! I do love this franchise I heard we are getting a 5th movie Also villain ranked 4 Kai 3 The Chameleon 2:Lord Shen 1:Ti Lung
I think you should switch KFP 3 with 4 because if you look at KFP 3 it actually tells a good story and has a good conclusion and has a lot of emotions. On the other hand KFP 4 just has a lot of comedy and action which is pretty much all it has going for it. Also, the villains were out of character, I thought it was really weird that they had just bowed down to him, it’s like the villains had forgotten about everything that has happened between themselves and Po. The Chameleon was a pretty cool villain but it definitely feels like she’s a copy of Kai. Kai basically does everything she does but better, he’s got a better introduction, better backstory, and better symbolism. He also has a deep connection with Oogway just like how Shen was to Po and Tai Lung was to Shifu. Each of the three villains all had something to offer to Po’s development. The Chameleon felt really bland as a villain. I would l also like to hear why you think KFP 4 was better than KFP 3 and how Kai is worse than the Chameleon.
@@Mohammed-gc1xtshe’s the weakest villain by far you know she’s the worst villain when they don’t even bother to animate her backstory just make it exposition
My ranking: 1) Kung Fu Panda 2 (9.5/10) - One of the best animated sequels ever made with one of the best animated villains (Lord Shen). Plus I loved the concept of inner peace, Po's development throughout the film and his moments with the Furious Five. 2) Kung Fu Panda (9/10) - Perfect start to the franchise, especially with Po's development from a reluctant restaurant chef/waiter to the Kung Fu warrior he dreamed of being. Plus I loved Oogway & Tai Lung was another amazing villain. 3) Kung Fu Panda 3 (7.7/10) - Loved the concept of Chi, Po encountering his biological father and other Panda's, Oogway's return and I liked Kai as a villain. But it didn't have the same amount of action & the mature, more-serious tone compared to the first two films, although I do think it had the best ending of the four and felt like a good conclusion to the "trilogy" alongside the first two films. 4) Kung Fu Panda 4 (6/10) - Liked the action & fight sequences, slightly darker tone compared to the third film & Chameleon's voice & design. But it was far too sloppy compared to the other three, as it was too rushed at times (especially with Po & Zhen's friendship & the villain's redemption at the end), Chameleon had a weak backstory & wasn't compelling enough, it forgot some details from the earlier films (Chi especially & the inconsistencies with inner peace) and the lack of dialogue from the Furious Five (and them being absent for most of the film), Lord Shen & Kai. Overall I enjoyed all of them although the fourth film is the one I'm least likely to rewatch and the only one I was close to not enjoying.
i was 5 years old when i saw the first kung fu panda i was in middle school when i saw part 2 and i was in high school when i saw part 3 and now im in 2nd year college and im already 21 watching kung fu panda 4 and its still make me feel im a kid agien
I think Tai Lung had a lot of motivation for what he did; He was raised by Shifu and Oogway and was super talented at Kung Fu. When Oogway said he wasn’t the dragon warrior, he was confused and heartbroken.
1. 2 2. 1 3. 3 4. 4 I love the first two, but I definitely felt the comedy overtaking things too much with the 3rd and 4th movies. None are bad though.
I can’t put part 4 on my list yet because I haven’t seen it yet I’m watching it 2mm but as of right now My ranking 1.Kung Fu Panda 2 2.Kung Fu Panda 3.Kung Fu Panda 3
I am so surprised how good this franchise is. I never was a great fan of Jack Black because of his humour, but I respect the actor for what he does. With that said, I gave it a shot, and it was a great surprise for me. I don't regret any moment watching this franchise. Here's my list: 4- Kung Fu Panda 4 3- Kung Fu Panda 2 2- Kung Fu Panda 3 1- Kung Fu Panda 1
Finally someone who can appreciate the 4th movie for what it is. For the 3rd film, I found it dragged on in some places and thought Kai's backstory and motivation was kind of weak. Still a good movie though
Surprisingly there coming out with a 5th kung fu panda movie which may not have take as long as it did with 3 to 4 because of the pandemic. The producer(s) of the 4th installment made a statement saying that this is not the end of Po’s journey so this definitely opens up a fifth film there. They originally said before releasing kfp 4 that there were going to be 6th installments but we will have to see. So far from the looks of it kfp 5 seems definite. I hope it’s at least better than the 4th film honestly
I am seeing the 4th one on Tuesday but my ranking of the first 3 are like this (P.S. this is my favorite animated trilogy so even number 3 is an A+ to me): 3. Kung Fu Panda 2- I still really love this movie but it doesn’t have as much as a connection to me as the other two. I have the most nostalgia for the first and then the third is special to me as it’s the last movie I saw with my grandma. The 2nd is the one I’ve seen the least and personally other than Pos inner peace scene with his memories, it never stood out to me as much. I like the increased role of the Five and I enjoy Shen but I also felt Shifus absence from the majority of it is felt and the pacing is a bit more off to me story wise. Still top tier for me though. 2. Kung Fu Panda 3- I contemplated putting this one at number one but some of the panda village stuff does hold it back for me but I really appreciate this film and the parts towards the end gave me chills including Po sending himself to the spirit realm, his encounter with Oogway, his new transformation, etc. I also really loved how it tied Pos journey together which makes me a bit nervous for 4 as I don’t really see where else to take Pos story 1. Kung Fu Panda- it was my all time favorite movie for 8 years (I know it’s crazy) and I love the lessons it had and to me it’s the funniest. I at one point was even able to quote the whole movie
I haven’t seen 4 yet, but I just watched all three movies back to back yesterday, and 3 was not nearly as good as I remember. It’s the only Kung Fu Panda I haven’t rewatched multiple times and the only other time I saw it was in theaters in 2015. A absolutely love the first two films though and I grew up with them
My ranking: Kung Fu Panda Kung Fu Panda 2 Kung Fu Panda 3 Kung Fu Panda 4 I personally loved the fourth one but i can understand some of the gripes that people have with the film. The other 3 are absolute 10/10's for me
I absolutely love kung fu panda. I watched the first 2 films all the time. Kung Fu Panda 2 is my favorite animated film of all time. Jack black is PERFECT for Po. I love the mix of fun and seriousness and I just this franchise so much!
my biggest problem with the fourth movie is that it completely ignores the established lore from the Kung fu panda paws of destiny show. In that show there’s a line where Po says chameleons don’t exist in china. Now what a chameleon does exist? Some might say it’s just a throwaway line but come on, it establishes world building in a subtle but very effective way and this movie ABOLISHED that.
I just got finished watching the third movie for the first time (it never shows on TV and now I know why, I rented it and I thought it was garbage unfortunately). I loved the first two and have them on Blu-Ray since they first came out. I am not sure if I want to see the fourth movie.
Kung Fu Panda 2 is the only film in the franchise that didn't get released in a leap year. 2008, 2016 and this year, 2024 were leap years. 2011 wasn't.

2. Kung Fu Panda 1: it is such a good introduction movie of the series. I also like Tai lung but not as I like shen though
3. Kung Fu Panda 3: I think they could have make the villain Kai better to be honest... but I liked it
4. Kung Fu Panda 4: ALMOST NO FURIOUS 5?? And I was really looking forward to see Shen shine (?)..... But still a good movie
I would go:
3. Kung Fu Panda 3 8/10
2. Kung Fu Panda 9/10
1. Kung Fu Panda 2 9.5/10 (among my favorite movies)
Watching 4 tomorrow 👍
Lets go 1 and 2 are PEAK
could not agree more
As someone who has already watched it, I need to tell you: keep your expectations low. This movie is not going to be good if you think it's going to be 10/10 movie. (I'm not saying that this movie is bad, for me it is 8.5/10)
@@stefandjuric322 thank u. I already knew to do that once the first reviews started coming in…
I just got back from seeing Kung Fu Panda 4 last night and I gotta say, it’s pretty good. Definitely has some issues, but there was a-lot to like. For me personally, it’s an 8.5/10.

I will watch Kung Fu Panda 4 coming soon
Dont.
For me it’s
4 KFP 3 the weakest one still had fun with it
3:KFP 4 I had fun with it
2:KFP 2 easily the best
1 KFP 1 The Goat!
I do love this franchise I heard we are getting a 5th movie
Also villain ranked
4 Kai
3 The Chameleon
2:Lord Shen
1:Ti Lung
Definitely agree with chameleon being better than kai she was just like po underestimated and rejected
*Kung Fu Panda* Main Villains Ranked
1. Lord Shen
2. Tai Lung
3. Kai the Collector
4. Chameleon
Is Chameleon Atleast A Good Villain? I Haven't Seen The Movie Yet
@@Mohammed-gc1xt she was fine I guess
@@Mohammed-gc1xt I watched Kung Fu Panda 4 today and for me, Chameleon is better villain than Kai.
@@stefandjuric322fr
@@Mohammed-gc1xtshe’s the weakest villain by far you know she’s the worst villain when they don’t even bother to animate her backstory just make it exposition
Kung fu panda 4 was enjoyable but it did not captured the same magic as in original trilogy
My ranking:
1) Kung Fu Panda 2 (9.5/10) - One of the best animated sequels ever made with one of the best animated villains (Lord Shen).
Kung fu panda 4 plot armour be like chamelon stealing kai powers and keeping him at cage along with lord shen and tai lung
Much like Scream, the Kung Fu Panda series has been pretty solid. KP 4 was a noticeable step down in quality, but it wasn’t a bad movie.
That's what I wanted to hear!
Kung Fu Panda 2 is an underrated legendary epic emotional and cinematic masterpiece.
Po is a childhood hero for infinity
Actually Kung Fu Panda 2 is so overrated and liked by so many people so I don’t know what you’re talking about lol

I think Tai Lung had a lot of motivation for what he did; He was raised by Shifu and Oogway and was super talented at Kung Fu. When Oogway said he wasn’t the dragon warrior, he was confused and heartbroken.

Aww the little skadoosh in the beginning
I can’t put part 4 on my list yet because I haven’t seen it yet I’m watching it 2mm but as of right now

I am so surprised how good this franchise is. I never was a great fan of Jack Black because of his humour, but I respect the actor for what he does. With that said, I gave it a shot, and it was a great surprise for me. I don't regret any moment watching this franchise.
Here's my list:
4- Kung Fu Panda 4

Finally someone who can appreciate the 4th movie for what it is.
For the 3rd film, I found it dragged on in some places and thought Kai's backstory and motivation was kind of weak. Still a good movie though

@@danwarner7816 That’s a hot take if I’ve ever seen one.
@skylord1846 yep tbf I always wanted ty long to return at some point and overall just find first better story than 2
Surprisingly there coming out with a 5th kung fu panda movie which may not have take as long as it did with 3 to 4 because of the pandemic.
I love Kung Fu Panda movies. I enjoy 4th one.
Kung Fu Panda 2 is legit amongst my favorite movies ever
I am seeing the 4th one on Tuesday but my ranking of the first 3 are like this (P.S. this is my favorite animated trilogy so even number 3 is an A+ to me):
I also really loved how it tied Pos journey together which makes me a bit nervous for 4 as I don’t really see where else to take Pos story
1. Kung Fu Panda- it was my all time favorite movie for 8 years (I know it’s crazy) and I love the lessons it had and to me it’s the funniest. I at one point was even able to quote the whole movie
Kung fu panda 2 is dreamwork best story
My ranking: ( i like all of them)
1: Kung Fu Panda 2
2: Kung Fu Panda
3: Kung Fu Panda 4
4: Kung Fu Panda 3
I think it's impressive how this and Shrek 2 are considered by fans the best out of the their films but the 1st is high acclaimed more lol
I haven’t seen 4 yet, but I just watched all three movies back to back yesterday, and 3 was not nearly as good as I remember. It’s the only Kung Fu Panda I haven’t rewatched multiple times and the only other time I saw it was in theaters in 2015. A absolutely love the first two films though and I grew up with them
2nd is the best. Though the story of Moses :) like Harry Potter, is what it was build upon, still my favorite 😊.
My ranking:
Kung Fu Panda
Kung Fu Panda 2
Kung Fu Panda 3
Kung Fu Panda 4
I personally loved the fourth one but i can understand some of the gripes that people have with the film.
Nit having the furious 5 is like having only Iron man on the first AVENGERS movie and i mean THE FIRST avenger movie
1. Kung Fu Panda 4
2. Kung Fu Panda 3
3. Kung Fu Panda 2
4. 2008
my biggest problem with the fourth movie is that it completely ignores the established lore from the Kung fu panda paws of destiny show. In that show there’s a line where Po says chameleons don’t exist in china. Now what a chameleon does exist? Some might say it’s just a throwaway line but come on, it establishes world building in a subtle but very effective way and this movie ABOLISHED that.
Bruh
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO APPRECIATES 2nd MOVIE
1,2,3,4 but all are great
I just got finished watching the third movie for the first time (it never shows on TV and now I know why, I rented it and I thought it was garbage unfortunately). I loved the first two and have them on Blu-Ray since they first came out. I am not sure if I want to see the fourth movie.
For me
1: 1st one
2. 2nd one
3. 4
4: 3
Kung Fu Panda 2 is the only film in the franchise that didn't get released in a leap year. 2008, 2016 and this year, 2024 were leap years. 2011 wasn't.
Here is my W ranking
#4: kung fu panda 2: Fight me
🥉: kung fu panda 4: only up here cause that fire parody jack black dropped.
🥈: kung fu panda 3: w art style
🥇: kung fu panda: started a W franchise
KFP 4 was the first one I saw, and also my favorite. It had the biggest plot twists in my opinion, and was the least predictable.
I just watched the 2nd one and can say it’s overrated because most people say it’s the best one.
My rank: 4, 1, 2, 3.
I will personally say the franchise goes 1,2,3 then 4 it gets worse as you get along but kfp2 imo is just a smidge below the first it's still an incredible sequel but the first film is perfect Tai Lung is my favourite and the animation holds up very well and it's iconic definitely how I would rank it
1. KPF 2
2. KPF
3. KPF 3
4. KPF 4
My own ranking was:
1-Kung fu Panda 1
2-Kung fu panda three
3-(I’ll have to see kung fu panda 4 in the future once movie was released in Hd instead of Cam)
4-Kung Fu panda 2
Nvr let bro cook again
4: kung fu panda 4: an enjoyable movie that has great animation and action but it is missing much of the heart of the first 3 and it feels generic at times
3: kung fu panda 3: a great movie that has one of the biggest emotional hooks with POs dad who is a great character but this also feels like it's stretching itself thin
2: kung fu panda: a great original concept that had great action a great voice cast and a great villain
1: kung fu panda 2: one of the best DreamWorks movies that is very emotional and expands on everything set up in the first one with a much darker tone than usual from DreamWorks
I highly disagree with your criticisms of Tai Lung, but I do understand where they come from. I’d love to discuss!
My ranking of the Kung Fu Panda franchise.
1. Kung Fu Panda (2008)
2. Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011)
3. Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016)
4. Kung Fu Panda 4 (2024)
Review of every movie
Kung fu panda 1: best villain in the series, end fight was underwhelming and humor was a little to cheesy 9/10
Kung fu panda 2: deep storytelling and genuinely great fight scenes 10/10
Kung fu panda 3: great villain, great plot, solid all around 9/10
Kung fu panda 4: best fights scenes of the series but story, heart and characters were lacking, 6/10
If anyone deserves to be Po’s protégé it should have been Tigress.

2. Kung fu Panda 2(8/10)
3. Kung fu Panda 1(7/10)

I liked the story in 3 more but liked the character so much more in 4 which is honestly why I think 4 was better.
Nah 3 is great while 4 is predictable mid

3. Kung-Fu panda 3 (2016)
2. Kung-Fu panda (2008)
