    I rode in some helicopters near to 50 years ago and on the other side of the world. That looked like a lot more fun. Great video Gary, thanks.

    The river you flew over looks like it could have amazing crevices. I bet you could spend the entire summer and not get them all.

    That was a great video. You need a creek that is as dry as your sense of humour, made me chuckle at times. I was amazed at the size of the boulders in the valley from the helicopter shots. Having watched you do the crevicing I have now started to try this a lot more and it does give you some great rewards. All the best.

    I'm glad I watch these videos. I'm just starting out. Ran my first 5 pans today, more for the experience than hope of actually finding anything. I think I actually pulled 3 pieces but haven't really scrutinized them yet. Plus, no snuffer bottles yet...they's comin. I have to say I really enjoyed giving it a try armed with the lil I know. I was just on a rocky river bank and just took random samples. I'm looking forward to doing it again.

    Another great day when you post a gold vid. Gary you said you were going to go through the footage of the trip and study the areas you saw. ?? when you do could you show all of us that watch you what exactly you see and how you think about those areas. I watch your helicopter vids and TRY to understand what you think as you see spots that you like and why one spot looks better than another spot. A better understanding of how to read a river would sure help us learn to be better prospectors. Most of us can only see the rivers from bridges and google earth. You are a true inspiration to your subscribers, thanks for taking us along.

      That is a very good idea. I never thought about putting together a video using the aerial shots to show how the gravel moves, and how I use it for a research tool. Things are to busy right now but, that will be a great project this winter. Thank you very much.

Im sure we all hope you write a tell all book with tips, maps and GPS cordinates of your honey holes one day. I like many others would be the first to buy a copy. Some of your videos look like CA ? I do my fair share of prospecting here in CA and dream of having just one of your just "Okay" days. Cant get out as much anymore now that I have kids so I supplement my addiction watching you mine. Keep up the Videos they are awesome!

    My helicopter is google maps,. you put in an address near your target and change the map to earth view and winter or summer you get the summer view of the area.
    The problem I notice is you can't really tell if its a hill or flat and you can't see cliffs along creeks either.
    That's most of my entertainment.
    But I don't like to ask people to play in their creeks,... it makes me feel like a transient.

    Do you know if the compony that make the 17" crevies tool ship to Australia.

    • @TwoToes
      @TwoToes  6 лет назад

      I am the one that makes the orange handled crevice tools. I would love to send them to Australia, but the cost of shipping and the paper work that the post office requires is just to much. The cost to ship one small tool is over $20.00 dollars. All my shipping is done at my shipping center, all I do is drop off the packages at the post office. I don't have to stand in line or any of that. When I ship out of the U.S. I have to stand in line to fill out the custom forms. I comes down to not enough time in the day. I haven't been able to find a better way to get stuff down there.

  • @martinjeans840

      I was using a dredge. It was on the last day of the season, I had a helicopter scheduled to pull everything out the next day. I decided to move the dredge down stream to clean out a small crevice I had noticed a few days earlier. At that point I had not done very well that year. It turned out to be a virgin crevice, less than a hour of work I pulled out the 2 pounds. Its going to be hard to beat that day! Thanks - Gary
