- The EU is backing the International Criminal Court's ruling on Israel's occupation of Palestine. The United Nations Court ruled that the 57-year occupation was unlawful. International relations expert Brooks Spector explained.

ICJ and ICC are two different entities. ICC only has power in the countries that signed the Rome Statute and not every country did that. Countries that have not signed is not bound by its ruling.
ICJ is a court under the United Nations. Every UN member is automatically under the ICJ's jurisdiction, and the ruling made by the ICJ is binding to all UN member countries.
When someone tells you something you don’t know, have the courtesy of asking for clarification, and try not to respond with a dismissive “So what?”

It was an advisory opinion requested by the general assembly several years ago so it was never meant to be enforceable. The ball is back in the UN's court now (no pun intended).

Look at historical maps - many, many maps of Palestine before 1948. A quick Google search will do it. I've seen plenty posted on Facebook.
There are countless maps over the last 3000 years that have Palestine on them. Find a political map that shows the borders of the Zionist entity before 1948.
Scandinavia is also featured on many maps that break down global regions. Have you ever seen a map, or did you just hear this one crappy, dismissive joke and think it made some kind of valid point?
