I'm so stupid. I have a hard time learning through tutorials because I am so forgetful and become confused easily, so I've thought to just invent my own stitches. I (thought I'd) invented this stitch recently, and I was so proud, like, "well, that looks pretty, and it's easy, too!" 😂😅. It should be obvious to me that most ideas for stitches, especially for simple ones, already exist. I'm so glad I have a name for it, now, though.
Trust me, that's not stupid! With hundreds of thousands of years of human contribution, it's not easy to come up with something original. What you've done there is a bit of self education, and you've intuitively explored your chosen craft. Doing what others have done before you unprompted, without someone teaching you is indicative of quite good intelligence actually
So....what do you do at the end of a row to start another row? All this sh9ws is the end of a project. I'm at the beginning. Do you have a video that shows the beginning? I'm pretty sure if we have the beginning instructions, I can end it.
No she indeed went into the 2bd stitch. Let's say she had 12 stitches chained, so she does 2 extra for the height, has 14 now and then she starts working into the 12th stitch. The 14th doesn't count because the needle is already in there and she needs the 13th stitch for the height. Hope that helps :)
You have explained this better in a short than alot of folks do in a 30min video. Thanks for teh help

Thank you for the video stay safe God bless 🙏
I've been wondering what would happen if I chain one between each stitch!
If that is how you hold a small project, how do you hold a larger project? I have never seen anyone hold their project from underneath.
Thanks

Chain 2, flip & continue doing the same stitches throughout.
But you went into the second stitch?
believe that was the space between stitches

Thank you!
So to start, Do l start on the second stitch? Then at the beginning of next row, Do l start with 2 stitches?
Can i make several squares of this stitch and sew/stitch them together to make a blanket?
Sure i think, why not?
No. A black hole will form and tear apart the space time continuum. Don’t do it!!
dobra robota przyjacielu
Does it stretch please?
Yeah
why not start from beginning, if you’re going to a tutorial? 🙄
I think it's because it's easier to see the loops/stitches on a piece that's already started :-)
So unhelpful. If you’re teaching me then start at the beginning… no idea how you got to that first chain ….😮
Why is this so confusing 😭😭😭
Thank you! ❤️
You're so welcome ❤️
