It's based on a book called The Queens Gambit - but due to the Netflix series and people probably getting confused they changed it.. why they changed it to that I'm not sure

Only 4 wives met untimely ends. Wife #4 was divorced and became known as the king's sister. She did quite will. This looks like pure drama with little historical fact.
