Guys I’ve been stuck in silver for 4 years…… any tips? Update: I have actually ranked up to gold 3 thanks so much for helping me improve and I hope it’s just up from here.❤️❤️❤️
i felt so bad for the first hard stuck! he must get carried/boosted by his friends in ranked and then when he’s solo queuing his poor tm8s can’t carry that hard 😅
Mainly it's the rotation, even most of the whiffs are highly forgiving in 3s in lower ranks, but the rotation just sucks in these ranks.. I recently noticed the issue when I played with different diamond friends.. the one who's properly rotating just took 50% concentration off of me so I can just chill.. but the ball chasing friends, am just nervous for the entire game so I just have to sit in the net and let them ball chase, even if the balls' sometime rolling to me...
If people would traverse the map to always have boost. They would be so much better automatically. Getting to the ball in time plays a huge roll in the outcome of each shot
What I noticed about the first game was the hard stuck was lacking in speed which meant that it became much harder to save the ball. The hard stuck did not use flips at all.
I refuse to believe that was a hard stuck diamond, more like a guy who got a lucky diamond 1 in 3s placement matches and never touched rank again. Or the game.

The flagrant cheating in the final and the fact it was allowed was disheartening. I also think that other players score shouldn't have been discussed in freestyle challenge as they would have made a better exhibition instead of clearly settling.
How was there cheating in the final. Whenever they were put upright by the wall they instantly went backup. And they never hit it when they weren’t upside down. I agree with the freestyle round tho.
@@alexvaness8499 one of them was accelerating on wheels with boost for kickoff every time, cheating towards the ball if you will. Because he didn't drive around the field as he liked, turtling only to make contact with the ball, it suggests he knew it was unsportsmanlike behavior.
@Yuri Lopes Yeah but he can probably play to his advantage. People always go for mainstream mechanics only to get their ass bodied in matches because their Flippy vs mechanics don't fly with me. So predictable. You can learn how to render their kickoff flips useless by literally kicking off slower and winning the 50/50 instead of doing flips like a chimpanzee.
You know this makes a lot of sense. I recently have been able to maintain diamond in multiple ranks, but I’ve been dumbfounded by how bad some of my tm8s are. I only solo queue too
The first stuck d wasnt even a diamond prob, stuck diamonds actually have good rotation and passes. New diamonds only have mechanics but most of the time they cant use them in real games
It totally depends on what types of diamonds they are though as well. Theres a massive difference between a 3v3 diamond and a 1v1 diamond. Theres also massive differences between an aggressive shooter or a passive support. As a ~2 year diamond player (both 2s and 3s, but don't play 1s) that practically can't fly...there are still huge differences in skill levels between players at that rank.

I was a hard stuck diamond for a while cause I had really bad rotations I have good mechanics but the only reason I’m champ 2 is because of the rotations, I never even take th Len all off the wall for air dribbles flip resets ect.

I’ve been stuck in plat 3 for months because I’ll either have good days where I’m mechanically inclined, and other days where I can barely hit the ball. Probably should stop drinking while playing too but 🤷🏽♂️

Very true but ive played with champs and it isnt much different. High d2 to low champ 1 isnt much different imo. Just rotation is a bit better and a tiny more consistent

I derank a lot from champ back to diamond and I can tell you this never have I struggled in d2 and d3 lobbies to get back to champ. I will say high d3 and low champ 1 are about the same just depending on if your opponents and teammates were once champ or grinding for champ.

I feel like some of the goals from new on the last ones shouldnt count cause when he didn the kick off he wasnt flipped making it an ariel which gives him more power and control
From what I have seen, the hard stuck diamonds are very stiff, meaning that the are less likely to whiff but they seem to make really bad decisions because they over-estimate their mechanics. Meanwhile, the new diamonds are the exact opposite.
Mechanics are not needed in these ranks. They hare stuck because they make like you said bad decisions. Don't focus on mechanics in these ranks and focus on what is important. Good decisions/positions and good rotation will win you games more than mechanics.
The pain in being hardstuck is just unbearable, tried getting champ for ages but couldn't... winning the credits could make be a loser but with style 😎

@fine_email Do training packs which have long range ground shots off the sidewall and rebound shots off the backboard. These are shots which most low ranks find hard to get consistently good at.

From what I have seen, the hard stuck diamonds are very stiff, meaning that the are less likely to whiff but they seem to make really bad decisions because they over-estimate their mechanics. Meanwhile, the new diamonds are the exact opposite.
Mechanics are not needed in these ranks. They hare stuck because they make like you said bad decisions. Don't focus on mechanics in these ranks and focus on what is important. Good decisions/positions and good rotation will win you games more than mechanics.
@@exitoz1396 you don't need mechanics to win up until mid GC. Rotation and smart choices win games.

@Matthew McCormack a coach when you just started isnt very efficient, learning basic stuff is a must
just have fun at that point in the game - the extra modes might pique your interest as well, hoops and rumble are fun

@fine_email Do training packs which have long range ground shots off the sidewall and rebound shots off the backboard. These are shots which most low ranks find hard to get consistently good at.
