    Nice to see it doing real work. I was stationed on a buoy tender next to it in ‘79 when she was new. We service all lighted buoys on Lake Erie and Lake Ontario and painted lighthouses in the summer. They did NOTHING. Earned the nickname ‘building 102’.

    Huh,I didn’t know the Coast Guard had barges. I knew they had buoy tenders. Is this common now?
