Just like the other video with a rear door window on a Kia soul. Neither of these instructions gave any indication of how almost impossible it is to get the window back in the door and lined up without breaking it. Considering this is the most difficult part of the entire operation The fact that nobody gives specific details on how the fuck to do it is fucking brilliant!!

I took apart everything on the door to make enough room after trying and trying and trying and trying to get the window to fit back in. Even after making all of that room I still almost had to break the window bending it and forcing it to get into the track. I would never do this again if you paid me. It was excruciating and I can't believe I didn't break the window. Nobody tells you this so let me tell you this Don't try this yourself pay somebody, save yourself the insanity.

Guys, on my 2019 kia optima i had the same issue as most of you. On my rear door when you remove the cover, you will see on the inner side at the back of the window a small ( half the size on a palm) plastic trim, remove it ( its held the same way as the door cover) and look ,you will see a 10mm bolt( total of 3 but you will touch only 2 of them),this bolt holds the top of the rail. Loosen it but don't remove it( look closer and you will see an ingraved arrow above the bolt engraved on the door, pointing the location of where the bolt should stay) after loosening it, look down following the rail and there is another 10mm bolt in a hole. Loosen it as well. This way the back rail moves and gives you more than enough space to slide the window in,after that easy peasy( I wish i knew that 2 hrs before i figured it out last night). I hope this helps and good luck to all of you

you guys, you put the window in with the right side or left side down first. then reaching in the panel, hold it and move the stuff out of the way lowering as u go. unbolt the plastic holders for the rubber guides in the door so u can move them. the only reason I said right or left side down first is because different models have stuff in different spots. just go sideways down gradually leveling flat all the way to the bottom. then from the inside of the door, align into the side tracks and raise up into the rubber moldings. Once it is fitted lower onto the white holder, insert screw through the hole and tightin.

I have a 2016 Kia Optima and just replaced this same mirror but its not the same. There are two nuts you have to unscrew slightly and the window guides move 1/2in so you can slide it straight down. I just uploaded it to show people if they need it, csuse i could t find it anywhere.
