In my opinion, it's better when the time stops. The power is immediately full, but when the time stops are finished, the power returns to what it was before. It can be called by saving our initial power data and then filling the power sans, but when the time doesn't stop, it loads our initial power data, but when the power runs out, you can't use bad time or you can't use time stop.
As a person who never gets used to new thing i just use old strat which is just standing in 1 place and everytime frisk gets close just uses telekinesis and blaster at same time so they will get knocked back and get some damage and repeat it till frisk is ded

The custom character option was actually improved a bit, that added the ability to import your own custom made character skins, and recolor existing ones. Now you can basically play mr potato head to make your perfect character look.
Have you ever tryed the danctale sans and the toxic sans from the credits ? They don't have the same attack that classic sans and danctale look op (i'm too bad with metal sadly)
We don't know the date since the dev is still hard at work on the update and you never know how long coding different things takes but it will definitely be out before the end of the year.
heres a funny thing, idk if its in new versions but you can spam telekinesis at 0 power and still push them away while spamming blasters since they work at 0 stam, its basically a free win no matter what

Simple tactic: get to the right of the screan, make their gravity towards the left wall, and spam big gaster blasters. When u run out of power, by time u see them, u will have your power back so u can repeat step 2 and 3

Now i don't know if this is because it's on pc or 1.6 but on my android what i do is use bad time then use blue soul and send them to the back, then i go to the right using teleport and stay in the middle tiles the use giant blaster gaster and when my power goes out i wait until it is replenished and do it again
I just sit at the back of the map just slightly above the bottom square and spam big blasters to win and before I lose my energy I just turn their soul normal and by the time they get to me my energy is refilled so back to blue and blasters

Honestly alpha 4 feels like such a downgrade. It's for the most part just the sans we had before but worse :/ Worse regen, worse bones, chara got a buff so even worse bones, it just generally feels bad. While alpha 3 wasn't perfect it was getting close to being really good while this just feels like a step back. Only thing it did right was revert the blue soul changes.

The server doesn't allow invites but you can get to it through the menu on the game, just press the discord picture. I literally just use the games server to see these sneak peaks.

I did this, but I occasionally added blue bones to freeze the enemy in place
long story short: reverted sans back to his 1.5 form and now he has twice as long mana recovery
He kept some of the minor changes like the bonezone stuff, really they just removed the circle blasters and reverted timestop to being really bad

back in my day this game on the hardest difficulty could be easily completed

On 1.5 that wasn't the case till I downloaded 1.6 and realized that they made sans weak and made Chara stronger
A good strategy is get to the end of the corridor then use bad time blasters and if frisk gets close use push
The power nerf makes this useless also badtime blasters were removed

Disbelief papyrus is still super hard, but you can win by smacking them back 1 billion times. Flowey sucks. Agree with buffs though.
