While running around completing sidequests and exploring the rocky, mountainous terrain that lies on the Storm Coast, with the harsh wind blowing against my face, watching Giants and Dragons duke it out in the distance, I am pulled out of this fantastical experience to a shittier reality where I realize its 2 in the morning and I should really go to bed. xD
Dont know why people is whining about the side quests.. ITS AN RPG. Their supposed to have them in game. Been following this game since 2012.. and bioware worked really really hard to make this game awesome.. so complaining about it now just makes you seem like your one of those people that will never be satisfied with anything in life, or nothing will ever please, but I do understand the bug and glitches, but they've already sent patches, so hey, be happy.. this game deserves all the LOVE it's been getting.. Dai is totally my game of the year.
Only problems i have on my Rouge on my save 2 is that the Hinterlands is SO FUCKING BIG xD. It's not a real complain but i know i got 20-30 hours of running EVERYWHERE and killing EVERYTHING untill i get to Winter Palace(around this time, then i got good enough shit that i don't need to check things incase they better or not)
people arent really complaining that the side quests are there, they are complaining that the vast majority of them are quite dull and arent as good overall as they were in origins. They are just filler content with very little substance to them aside from a very select few. Now, i dont completely agree with this assessment, but i largely do. As much as im liking DAI (im on my 3rd playthrough with about 200 hours sinked in, yea, im liking it *alot*), the side quests are admittedly boring and lack substance, especially when compared the main story quests. This obviously hasnt deterred me from playing, but it is a problem worth noting.
Currently clocked in 156 hours, majority of which in SP - I have one playthrough of about 120 hours, and another of about twenty, the rest is Multiplayer. I'm still not planning on stopping to play anything else, and I'm only willing to not play because of real life. The only bugs I have encountered in those over one hundred and fifty hours are now fixed, and even while they existed, they never were gamebreakers. GOTY is well deserved. There are no words that can convey the pure awesomeness of the game. It's only getting more and more awesome by the minute. I salute the developers.
***** I think it still needs some optimization (but part of that may be some driver issues that came with the recent hotfix). After that, eh, I hope they do bring in features that they had to delay, and get with *quality* DLC/expansions early next year. Yep, we have to keep in mind we may have a whole year (heck, maybe even more) of content releases to come...
Sunk a little over 100 hours into my first playthrough. Had some issues with textures not loading, dialog bugs, and some crashing... BUT the longer I seemed to play the easier it seemed to be and the errors began to occur less frequently. Working on my second, and its pretty good right now, especially after the patch.
All I really want is a day/night cycle to further flesh out the world and less rigid animations during (some of) the cutscenes. Oh and better hairstyles. They were lacking, imo. Why couldn't I have Alistair/Cullen's hair? ;____; Other than that, this game was amazing.
Thorson Wong Day/Night cycle? You can't expect such elaborate features from a AAA game! Just joking, but more seriously - I do hope that DA4 does bring that in, as well as a feeling of a more 'lived in' world (DAI is really more of the start of their foray into 'open world' design).
I hope D.L.C. comes out soon. I've recently finished the game, but I still want to keep playing. I want to play with my Ferelden Grey Warden, Kirkwall Champion AND Lord Inquisitor in the same party!!!

Storage chest would be very nice. I'm tired of carrying around everything I pick up till I get to a merchant or destroying my least useful equipment that I could've made money on. Yes, please install a storage chest!
Bobbiann Mako If Bioware wants their cake ($$) and to eat it too (fan praise), they'll patch in a small storage chest (with 10s of slots) and then have a DLC that includes a vault that may hold anything you want it to hold.
This game is a masterpiece. It met and exceeded all of the expectations that I had for it. I love absolutely everything about Dragon Age and Thedas and Inquisition has only intensified that love.
My warrior Warden, my mage Champion, and now my rogue Inquisitor...yes, love Dragon Age! So fucking awesome! P.S. Can't wait for more DA and of course Mass Effect!!!
I have about 70 hours on DA3 now and I have played all the other DA games. I can say the story is as good as the first game if not better, the scripting and voice acting are top notch. Graphics are amazing, this is likely the most detailed game out on the market rite now ''for P.C.". The game is great and I like it a lot. That being said the game is buggy as fuck even after the new patch that came out on the 9th, there are all kinds of glitches and most of them cause crashes or general freezing that end up being a crash more or less. I have never played a more glitchy game than this, seriously it still needs work.
Techrodd Game crashed 2 on a 130 hours save. Both Crashes was noticble for a mile away. My PC isn't the best but i don't think it's the game that causes the crashes but more the PC someone plays on. I don't know shit about PCs and that so i might just be wrong but that what i think.

Until the patch the camera would flip out every time I entered into combat and never look at what i was attacking for more than 2 seconds. I also had a few crashes.. One time i had 4 crashes in a row after making my character. Id make my toon, crash when loading, make her again, crash, again, crash etc. It was very annoying. Now that the first patch came out, the game is playing alot better, but Ive noticed a bit of a framerate drop as well.
And a quick question, would this game work well on a Hp Pavillion x360? the one from the surfer dude commercial? I want to get it, but I want to make sure my comp can run it.
Also, the fact I can just put Cole and Solas in a party, I always see them striking up a conversation! Always! And Blackwall has to intervene sometimes.... countless conversations!
I'm enjoying this game immensely! I'm playing on PC - other than framerates dropping during cut scenes and my crew disappearing every now and then in Skyhold (at first I figured they were off doing something until I saw other people had this issue too! haha) - everything has been running great. It's been a VERY long time since I played a game over 30 hrs. I LOVE getting to explore more of Thedas. It's a beautiful world with so much lore and so much to do- I love it to pieces! Thank you for such a wonderful gaming experience. :)
I dont like how the end game boss feels like a mini boss in the grand scheme of things. We outplayed him the entire story, never backed to a wall except the attack on haven. After that we roflstomp him at every occasion. There is no sense of danger
Yolanda Spencer Santos True. It really seemed more like an Act 2 final boss, not Act 3. Which makes me think that Bioware will release a whole Act 4 (or maybe also Act 5?) as expansion/s.

this was my first dragon age experience...so i dont have seniority as all of u guys do but i absolutely LOVED this game..bought it a week ago and have 129 hours on it already and now im starting a new game an plan to play it a 3rd time after...i pray to god that the next installment has some sort of co-op feature i have loved to play this game with friends...so long as it is implemented ina way that doesnt affect the story :)

My only concern lives in the multiplayer segment of the game, it certainly could use alot more love than it's currently receiving. None the less, the game is wonderful. Ive had this game since launch on ps4 and its still in the plastic lol. I have not had the time recently to do my DA keep stuff, but now I got plenty time! I played and beat origins and awakening on ps3 and I hav a character on DA 2 aswell should I finish da 2 or just do DA Keep for everything?
Honestly, i think you should beat DA2 first. I haven't played DA2 and i know i missed A LOT of stuff, but i also think they spoil a bit of DA2 in DA:I so finish DA2 first and then start DA:I.

I think the game would have been taken to a whole new level if the characters choices with the NPCs had a similar result to the suicide mission in ME2. Other than that, I absolutely love the game, and will continue to play it as long as there is quality DLC.
Best game in so many years... It's not perfect, had some technical issues, but not a gamebreaker. Finished my first playthroug with 125 hours, now I'm playing again with another world state and race/class combo.

Ever since I played da:o this is the game I've been waiting for I've gone mental waiting for it ever since I saw that it was coming inside of a gameinformer. Every moment of my first 90 hour playthrough was filled with amazing things that I loved, I haven't even tried the multilayer because I'm redoing the game with a new inquisitor. This is the only game I wanted to buy for the last year, when I tried playing other games before dragon age was released I just couldn't because it wasn't this game from the heartbreaking moments to the phenomenal tavern songs to ever little piece of the puzzle that made this game what it was I thank you for making such a great game that I will love for years to come

Love this game! I really wish that the advisors would have been playable, like josephine could do backflips and do kung fu and stuff. Cullen could just be a tank.
PixelPlays Josephine has pretty much no combat skills, as was Bioware's intent. Maybe she has some secret abilities, but I'm not aware of that. I can surely go with DLC that involves each of the advisers though! :) Cullen for big battling, Leliana for stealthy, Josephine for social. Or heck, even more interesting would be to put them out of their elements.
Dragon Age are like a drama tv show make you cry , laugh and angry but all the time you are feeling much hours of work from BioWare . Good Work guys u are the best

Its a great game. Like, really good. Awesome story, memorable characters, multiple endings to quests, Thedas-shaking decisions... Really good. The only flaws it has are bugs (obviously), bad hair with few options, and a few too many basic sidequests. These aren't huge (except for some bugs) but they keep the game from being perfect.
Love it! Can't stop playing it. Love all the side quests, the more there are, the more gameplay there is!!! Love all the dialogue!!! The dialogue options were terrible in 2, you redeemed yourself in 3. More story in this one makes it easy to completely immerse yourself in the world. It's just perfect!!!
Riley Bush I'd prefer he be very important to a DA4 plotline, not just DLC. A DA4 that hopefully heavily involves the Anderfels, Tevinter, and Seheron (while fleshing out Par Volen, Antiva, and Rivain for a DA5).
Ive been getting stuck in coversations with people and the only way is to skip the whole damn thing. They sayed they fixed it for 360, ps4 and ps3 but what about the xbox one? is it doing this to anyone else?
Fantastic story and good character developments with amazing set pieces, unlike most games. However, my only complains are the under-par epilogue and the low-stakes antagonist as well as the final battle. If these three were up to par, this game would have been 10/10 easily.
Ok i just finished the game and killed all the 10 high dragons. Soo... the game was and is amazing and got me entertained like dragons dogma and i loved this game ! (Hoping for a sequel) But when you completed the story and killed the dragons, theres not that much for you to do (exept side quests). I hope that there will be a dlc (hope its free) where you can slay another 5 or more dragons with a expanded story line or a new one. Also a respawn of dragons would be nice :) I know that the dragons are the biggest events in this game but we enjoy the dragon fights and we want more :D Maybe a respawn system with half exp and less loot. But this is the best rpg which i played this year.

I will be starting my play through beginning with Dragon Age Origins, II, and then Inquisition.
They have spoken in a 200 page thread about how the game crashes directx with cut scenes on the PC. I guess you've ignored those "players".
Weird, everyone has games crashes and bugs on the PC. But I've encountered none of these problems.

Probably some Solas stuff, maybe some Warden stuff, hopefully something like Citadel DLC from ME3.

I'd say finish DA2 first(and the Legacy DLC) since it will have characters and such brought back.
Honestly, i think you should beat DA2 first. I haven't played DA2 and i know i missed A LOT of stuff, but i also think they spoil a bit of DA2 in DA:I so finish DA2 first and then start DA:I.

Love this game, been enjoying the world so much that i refuse to beat it xD Just have one question, how do you get thrones, mounts, and windows and stuff?? DO you find them? Or do you get them from quests? Only mount i've gotten are the random ones that show up on the wartable, and i bought that $10,000 box and get the giant Nugs haha those are my favourite so far. What are the other unique ones, and how do i get them??
Windows, drapes and decor are in a merchant in Val Royeaux. Thrones are unlocked through operations on the War Table.

Serriously BEST Dragon Age game yet cant stop playing it I havnt been sleeping much only had it for a week just love every aspect of it and its absolutely gorgeous I have the PC version and couldnt be happier Thank you for making such a BEAUTIFUL game

I think the game would have been taken to a whole new level if the characters choices with the NPCs had a similar result to the suicide mission in ME2. Other than that, I absolutely love the game, and will continue to play it as long as there is quality DLC.
Dragon Age Inquisition is an amazing game!
Best game in so many years... It's not perfect, had some technical issues, but not a gamebreaker. Finished my first playthroug with 125 hours, now I'm playing again with another world state and race/class combo.
Gotta agree. I'd have thought that it would be a let-down, considering the hype. Still going strong, nearly 100 hours in, and doing my best to prolong the ending. Just excellent, guys.
Bugs aside it was a fantastic experience, can't wait for more
The players have spoken and they couldn't be more right. Ever since I played da:o this is the game I've been waiting for I've gone mental waiting for it ever since I saw that it was coming inside of a gameinformer. Every moment of my first 90 hour playthrough was filled with amazing things that I loved, I haven't even tried the multilayer because I'm redoing the game with a new inquisitor. This is the only game I wanted to buy for the last year, when I tried playing other games before dragon age was released I just couldn't because it wasn't this game from the heartbreaking moments to the phenomenal tavern songs to ever little piece of the puzzle that made this game what it was I thank you for making such a great game that I will love for years to come
It would be great to have PVP in multiplayer.

It was the bugs and bad short story that annoyed me

Love this game! I really wish that the advisors would have been playable, like josephine could do backflips and do kung fu and stuff. Cullen could just be a tank.
PixelPlays Josephine has pretty much no combat skills, as was Bioware's intent. Maybe she has some secret abilities, but I'm not aware of that. I can surely go with DLC that involves each of the advisers though! :) Cullen for big battling, Leliana for stealthy, Josephine for social. Or heck, even more interesting would be to put them out of their elements.
EXACTLY what I was thinking. Josephine would be pretty cool being seemingly helpless, but in combat, she's like a NINJA!
Also, + internet points for the mantle support.
Dragon Age are like a drama tv show make you cry , laugh and angry but all the time you are feeling much hours of work from BioWare .

Damn bioware I have been a big fan since the first one I love the books but especially love the games thanks EA and Bioware for making the absolute best fantasy story of all time
Its a great game. Like, really good. Awesome story, memorable characters, multiple endings to quests, Thedas-shaking decisions... Really good.
The only flaws it has are bugs (obviously), bad hair with few options, and a few too many basic sidequests. These aren't huge (except for some bugs) but they keep the game from being perfect.
Love it! Can't stop playing it. Love all the side quests, the more there are, the more gameplay there is!!! Love all the dialogue!!! The dialogue options were terrible in 2, you redeemed yourself in 3. More story in this one makes it easy to completely immerse yourself in the world. It's just perfect!!!
All I want to see is the Architect... he needs to be the focus of the DLC
Riley Bush I'd prefer he be very important to a DA4 plotline, not just DLC. A DA4 that hopefully heavily involves the Anderfels, Tevinter, and Seheron (while fleshing out Par Volen, Antiva, and Rivain for a DA5).
Cullen has the best armor in the game... I would kill him for it if I could..

Ive been getting stuck in coversations with people and the only way is to skip the whole damn thing. They sayed they fixed it for 360, ps4 and ps3 but what about the xbox one? is it doing this to anyone else?

Fantastic story and good character developments with amazing set pieces, unlike most games. However, my only complains are the under-par epilogue and the low-stakes antagonist as well as the final battle. If these three were up to par, this game would have been 10/10 easily.
Ok i just finished the game and killed all the 10 high dragons.
Soo... the game was and is amazing and got me entertained like dragons dogma and i loved this game ! (Hoping for a sequel)
But when you completed the story and killed the dragons, theres not that much for you to do (exept side quests).
I hope that there will be a dlc (hope its free) where you can slay another 5 or more dragons with a expanded story line or a new one.
Also a respawn of dragons would be nice :)
I know that the dragons are the biggest events in this game but we enjoy the dragon fights and we want more :D
Maybe a respawn system with half exp and less loot.
But this is the best rpg which i played this year.

Did i play the same game? I dunno I loved the other 2 dragon ages games. I couldn't really get into the story, it was really predictable. Im going to play it again as a mage...maybe that will make it better. PC crashes alot though and a bug happened where my qunari looked completely different than before. its a good game dont get me wrong but I had such high hopes for it maybe it was impossible to meet them.
And after first patch quest with Solas still is bugged.
