26:00 You know it had been something of note to mention that Aunt May has gotten sick with several illnesses in these issues so far (including getting sent to the hospital several times). I think it all highlights one of the most significant issues with One More Day. Aunt May is going to die very soon anyway so Peter selling his marriage to the devil won't help her that much since her death is right around the corner (yes I know this illness gets healed in If This Be My Destiny but the point still stands that she gets sick all the time). I also don't like that her initial death (in Amazing Spider-Man #400) was undone for the same reason, she is going to die very soon anyway and she has gotten sick plenty of times before so it really doesn't matter that she's back. So finally, all her coming to life (and it is revealed that she never really died) did was not only undo a great, sad, and relatable moment. BTW she doesn't get brought back to life in One Mare Day her death is reconned before that I just wanted to make that clear.

i thought about this many times. would I divorce my wife of my dreams if my mom could live longer. I'm only 17 rn but I think I would. only because life is so precous and peter still gets to know mj while his mom is alive so idk. i have to ask my mom what is the right choicce

@@davidakin3840 The issue with this is that Aunt May was on death's door anyway, and (to Peter's knowledge) she would die in a very short time anyway, so it doesn't make any sense. And, yes I know that Aunt May is immortal because she's a comic book character, but Peter and MJ don't know that. Also, it undid two whole decades of character development and stained ASM comics ever since so ugggghhhhhh....... Finally, if Aunt May did actually have a say in this she'd slap Peter and MJ silly for even thinking about Mephisto's deal. Speaking of which there's no way in hell Peter would ever trust Mephisto because he's the devil and he's not for manipulating deals so they don't help the other person, and they only help him. If anything I'm surprised that he didn't do something to eternally damn Peter, MJ, and Aunt May, but again Peter and MJ didn't know he wouldn't.
